Well it's your family, so you should be making the application and writing all the information about your own family.

That's actually a long period. I wouldn't recommend using 'CreateAForum' when setting up a forum. Get a free or paid hosting and install your favourite forum application (SMF, phpBB...) manually.

Firstly, log in with the account as a forum administrator set by installation. You can see "Admin" tab which is placed with other tabs at the top of the page, click it. Here you can oversee your forum, create/modify your membergroups, edit your boards/categories, add modifications, set your general forum settings and themes etc. Click "Members" and then "Membergroups" in order to see the current forum membergroups, you can modify the permissions or change the membergroups' names.

I'd strongly recommend against using free service providers as well they're shit and incredibly limited in capability and features.
