Once again I'm starting to doubt if perhaps I should move over to Linux. I just like the looks of Linux and the smooth experience it provides. I like it's MAC OS kind of feel and the fact that it's different and much more customizable.
But what worries me once again is compatibility. I don't use any Adobe products and LibreOffice is enough of Microsoft Office alternative for me. However, I need to know if:

I can run GTA SA and use it's folders such as "GTA SA User Files"
I can run Battlefield 2 with Project Reality mod
I can run ARMA III
I can upload songs to iTunes
Play ETS2MP with gaming wheel
Having any chance of playing GTA V on Linux.

It seems to be able to run SA:MP via Wine.
I can run Battlefield 2 with Project Reality mod
I'd say the same as SA:MP.
I can run ARMA III
Likely not.
I can upload songs to iTunes
What do you mean?
Play ETS2MP with gaming wheel
Two different problems, you need both the game and wheel to be able to run, AND they need to communicate with one another.
Having any chance of playing GTA V on Linux.
I'd say your chances are somewhere between 0.0 and 3.14159265359%.

If you go Linux you're intentionally gimping yourself and locking yourself out of the majority of the software market.

Linux is the Windows Phone of the desktop OS world, don't do it. :rage:

Well, I used it before and I loved it. The only thing I disliked about it was compatibility with gaming.. Well, you can run GTA IV on Linux now. Why are you saying that GTA V is not a possibility?

I'd say linux is a no-go for anykind of real gamers at the moment, keep to using Windows.
