This is not an official Argonath RPG Server, it is something we're only trying out for the time being. As a result you must request an invitation to the server, those who are invited will be invited to a Steam group since we use a Steam group to control access to the server. Any infractions against the rules and you jeopardize your invitation as well as the continuation of the server. Once you have been within the server for a length of time and have managed to abide by the rules... you will be granted invites. The server is presently hosted by Argonath.
To request an invite: send a forum PM to Teddy (myself) or Chase with an explanation of why you are suitable and wish to join. Please read the entire list of rules and please ensure you are able to follow them before contacting.

We have a lot of mods that add blocks and other some cosmetic touches, skins, animations, and some other helpers. We'll leave a list here shortly with the full list.
Commands
/msg [user] [message] - Sends a private message to a user.
/faction [message] - Send a message to your faction (bug: will appear twice for sender).
/pos - returns your current x,y,z coordinate.
/timeleft - The amount of time before the server restarts.
/utility grids list - Shows ships and stations you own. You can also use /utility grids list dialog for an interface.
/utility export server [ship name] - Exports the ship to the server (use sparingly)
/info admins - Shows the current list of administration members.
Rules
Rule #1: Must use common sense.
A: Blocks and Building
A1. No destroying blocks, ships, or bases of other users. This includes creating blocks where you aren't permitted to.
A2. You are permitted to at most 3 drone ships. (automated/auto-nav)
A3. You cannot begin mining a resource on a asteroid that has already been claimed by someone else.
A4. You are permitted to have three stations base per faction.
A5. All stations and large ships must have a beacon or antenna operating with at least a 600m radius.
B: Factions
B1. You must declare in the public info the type of faction you are.
B2. The regulated faction types are: Pirate, Business, Mercenary, Military, Government (reserved)
B2.1 You can create a faction that isn't one of these.
B2.2 You can have a faction that mixes between types, as long as it has a primary.
B3. Faction Beacon Naming Policy
B3.1 All Pirate Ships must have the "(Pirate)" appended to their ship name.
B3.2 All Pirate Bases must have the same appended text to their station name.
B3.3 All Government ships and stations must have "(Gov)" appended to their names.
B3.4 You are not permitted to use "(Pirate)" or "(Gov)" unless apart of an applicable faction.
C: Cargo and Transportation Rules
C1. You are permitted to store as much items as you wish in an unlimited amount of cargo storage blocks.
C2. Transportation drones may be attacked and seized by Pirates.
D: Defined Roleplay
D1. This is a survival enterprise server: You assume the role of a simple man /woman trying to make it through in a world where there is no more sustainable planet. You goal is to survive and make a living within this new way of life.
D2. You must have value in your RP life.
D3. Government Stations may not be attacked and PVP may not take place in or near them (within 1000m)
D4. You must surrender if you are outnumbered by 3:1. (See E3 for further explanation)
D5. This should be considered a strict roleplay environment.
D6. The Government
B6.1 The Government defines laws enforced by a military faction.
B6.2 Military factions are responsible for enforcing the laws defined by the Government.
E: Combat and Fighting
E1. You may not kamikaze other ships, players, or bases (flying into intentionally)
E2. As a pirate, your objective is to plunder and not to kill. After-all you aren't a very good pirate if you don't make any profit because all of your loot is destroyed. If they try to escape try to disable either their power, power source (if solar), or their thrusters. If a drone, try to disable the remote controller. If the containers are locked, make some threats. If you are attacked and being outnumbered by D4, then you must unlock the containers.
E3. In expansion to D4, you must surrender under the following conditions (where S = small ship and L = large ship.)
S < L L (equals: 2 large ships attack a small ship)

S S < L L L
In-Depth: The rule accounts for actual ships and NOT players. If you have 1 small ship with 3 people versus 1 small ship with 1 person this does not equate to 3 v 1.
E3.1 If you are confident you can escape from a pirate, despite outnumbered, you can try.
E3.2 If a ship gets more than 1km away from you while attempting to plunder, it counts as a failed attempt (See E5).
E4. After a failed attempt to attack / raid a station you may not make a move on that faction again for 3 days.
E5. After a failed attempt to plunder a ship, you may not re-engage that player again for a day.
E6. If you are killed in combat you may not return to the same combat scene.
F: Exceptions
F1. A1 Exception: You may destroy block, ships, or bases of factions which your faction has declared war on.
F2. A1 Exception: You may attempt to plunder loot of a ship if your faction is a pirate type and you are attacking a cargo ship.
F2.1 B3 Exception: If engaging a ship or attempting to evade a ship, you may disable your beacon within 1km.
F3. E3/D4 Exception: Stations do not have to surrender under any condition.
F4. F6 Exception: If you die while defending a station and re-spawn at the station, you may rejoin the combat.
F4. F6 Exception: If you are the victim and spawn within 500m, you may rejoin the combat.
G: General
G1. Do not flame, provoke, or moan in any form of chat on the server.
G2. Faction names are permitted to have the name "Argonath" and "Argonath RPG" within the title but cannot be the only name / text.
G3. Administration directions are final. Do not argue or ignore our staff.
G4. You may not attack players, ships, stations, or anything within 1km of Legacy Station.
G4.1 Disable all automatic targeting systems by using their power off function.
G5. All other Argonath RPG community rules apply.
H: In-Game Scripts
H1. There is no limit on scripts but please be conservative on the amount or we will put limits.
H2. You may use Arrnor's NAV Autopilot for navigation, no other due to efficiency.
H3. Writing and deploying viruses are permitted as long as they do NOT rename any objects or cause the ship to break any rule.
H3.1 You cannot not use workshop viruses.
H4. Script rules are subject to change and may be disabled if deemed necessary.
Backstory
The year is 2076 and the planet earth has been destroyed by the greed of mankind. Millions died within months of the revelation, but some with the technical expertise and ability sought another opportunity to relive. Their goal was simple: space. An unknown amount of people boarded an experimental pod and a random destination in space was set. 65 years later they reached their destination. Those whom were quality leaders stood up and took charge to lead the new frontier to greatness while others sought to exploit the weak and vulnerable, more interested on making a profit on the new frontier.
