hello my friends!
in this post my intent is not to disrespect or offend anyone, one thing I want to point out here is the way and the reason some members go on cops duty, as we all know there are many members that wanna role play as cops and they would do everything possible to be within the rules of the server and be good cops and they want to stay as cops for as long as they are playing in this server, that doesn't only includes FBI officers or cops senior officers but I have seen some members who are just cops (without any high rank) that are doing great job, but on the other side I have seen members that go on duty for personal reasons and by personal reasons I mean revenge killing, suspecting enemy group/family members for no reason or just to mess around, I dont want to mention names here, but I feel that if the argonath management give some more time in Observing PD personnel we might have a better RP atmosphere. thanks

You can always /report them if they break a server rule.
Or simply report them at the ARPD Forum, even if necessary to FBI Internal Affairs.
SAPD Personal is observed by SAPD Command Staff so is FBI Personal observed by the FBI Command Staff & Internal Affairs.
Management will only join in case of any rule-break.


Ps:

There are no FBI Officers, there are SAPD Officers and FBI Agents.

And on a side note not to start any discussion, I do believe that to get a good RP standard your group should give us a good RP standard too.
 I have had multiple in counters with your members and they keep refusing to Roleplay in a way as if this server was not a RP one but a CnR Server.

The board located here; http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?board=52.0 is for reports on those abusing SAPD duty.
If it is breaking server rules like deathmatching then it becomes an administrative matter.

You really can't expect staff to run around spectating every person that is on duty to make sure they don't suspect a member of another group to get revenge or something.

Administration Staff, is already busy enough, with other matters IG. Now that, activity has been raised again in Argonath, often, only 3 admins have to deal with 100 players online. They don't have time, to spend on, spectating, each and every player.

Don't expect everything from admins. You also have "power" to deal with matters like that. If not /warn /kick /ban, then report, is your weapon and tool, to deal with matters like that. As devin said, you can't expect staff, to spectate every player on duty. Take some action, on your own, and just don't wait for others to deal with things like that.

Also, before reporting you should also know the difference between SAPD Rulebreaking and Server Rulebreaking. When, an officer is abusing his rights, is usually SAPD's matter so you report it at the ARPD forum(Link given from Devin, above). But, if he starts rulebreaking in the terms of Server Rules, then you must take action and /report him, instantly. If there isn't an admin online, take SS and report him, here in the forum.

I agree with all of you but I'm not generally saying to Observe every single player, my point here is that when we MIB group or me personally RP and kill someone then he goes on duty only to revenge kill, and I'm sure thats not reportable on ARPD forums because he only gets on Duty for revenge kill and once the he does finish his mission (revenge kill) he gets off duty, so I wanna know how to stop such things from happening? in an example of the point I wanna make is a story Happened yesterday,
a guy IG name Markkson tried to provoke us in /l standing in our area I told him 2 times (leave the area or you will die) he didnt stop provoking and flaming the group so we started shootout we were 5 or 4 MIBs and he was 1 we chased and killed him inside LSPD, I was the one who killed him but after death he went on duty and chased other MIB members that were in RP which clearly indicates that he only went on duty for revenge kill, he isnt a regular cop and it had nothing to do with RP of cop who is trying to catch a suspect since I (the one who killed him) was in Pizza stack near LS airport and he was after other MIB members in Market area in LS,
ARPD can't punish such things even if you report because even if he is cop banned whats the point of cop banning a member who never goes on duty, (unless he is killed by a group)

However, I generally agree with you. The freedom of the police officers has to be limited because most of the people abuse the freedom Argonath is giving them.

you are right but if you want to start new Role play as a cop that would mean be a cop, it doesn't mean go same group members who killed you in previous role play and start shootout again

Revenge killing is breaking server rules. This means that if he returns and immediately starts shooting to kill without attempt to arrest you have a reason to report to admnistration. Just to be sure, give up so he has no option except to roleplay arresting you.

that's the point, in the story i mentioned that's what exactly Happened, when we asked Admin (abe_Corleone) his answer was "it's Logical" now here's the confusion, you (Gandalf) say it's reportable to admins. and the in game admin (at that time) who saw everything (suspect in Idlewood area and cop is shooting out unsuspected group members in Market area in LS) that admin calls it "logical" now will you sir please explain whats logical in it? or after seeing your comments does that admin need to revise some rules, Possibly?
