Who said anything about a testing edition? It is a full version of Windows 10, not a preview or trial.

The ignorance of people posting here is killing me.

You will not receive a test version of Windows 10.. You will receive a COMPLETE, RETAIL version of Windows 10 for FREE once it is realeased.
And only a complete retard would argue that Windows 7 is better than either 8.1 or 10

Exactly, not to mention that the test version of Windows 10 which was available for everyone expired by April already..

The Windows version to be released on July 29 will not be the complete version (as there's no such thing with Windows 10). They will give you a bugs-free version with all the features they will have completed by july 29. It also wont have loggers or trackers like it does in the insider version.

They will gradually introduce some other promised features of the OS after July 29 after testing with the insiders (which will continue after the consumer release of the OS).

No idea where you people are reading these strange stories, too bad they all seem false;

*Windows Offer Details

Yes, free! This upgrade offer is for a full version of Windows 10, not a trial. 3GB download required; standard data rates apply. To take advantage of this free offer, you must upgrade to Windows 10 within one year of availability. Once you upgrade, you have Windows 10 for free on that device.

"Is this bad news? Considering Microsoft's "Windows as a service" approach, all this means is what we already know: new features will continuously be added to Windows 10 for PC and Mobile on a regular basis. So although we may be missing some features at launch, these and other additions will continuously be rolled out through frequent updates"

"With summer rapidly approaching (and that rumored end-of-July launch for PC), Microsoft appears to now be in a 'shut up and ship' mode, killing bugs, adding on polish. We always knew that point would have to happen, and it looks like we are finally there."

RTM version is being finalized by Microsoft. Windows Insiders will receive the version first and apparently W10 files will preload to Windows insiders' PCs.

Not just insiders, all W8 users have the option to get it preloaded.

That is not true. Windows Insiders will be receiving it upon release just like anyone else. The difference is that Windows Insiders will be receiving a "insider program" version rather than the official release, (although it is essentially the same thing, but just gets new builds/updates sooner). They still have to wait until July 29th to receive a "released" version. (OEM partners getting it a week early is just so they can begin pre-loading it on systems for sale on July 29th and beyond. Windows 7/8.x users will be offered a digital download the same time it goes for sale).

It will only be the Windows Insiders who will get it on July 29th, that's what I meant. Others will get it a few days later. Gradual rollout.
