The Ministry of Good Intentions
Introduction:
The Ministry of Good Intentions, commonly referred to as MGI, is a military organization founded in 2008. Through the years, the organization has been under the command of several leaders, but has always remained to keep their ultimate goal of protecting the citizens of Argonath from foreign and domestic threats. While not always visible to the public, the Ministry of Good Intentions is always doing their part in making sure they are prepared and readily available for any situation that they may encounter.
The Role of MGI in the State of Argonath:
A commonly asked question is, "What exactly is MGI's role in Argonath? Are you basically police?" The answer to that question is yes, but also no. While the Ministry of Good Intentions is classified as a law enforcement organization, we are not your typical 'police force.' While we do have the ability to suspect civilians, and to appear as law enforcement to the public, we do not enforce the common laws within the state. You will not see us patrolling the streets or pulling people over for speeding. The MGI will only respond to situations that absolutely need us there. Our response to a situation will be based on the situation itself and will rely on the discretion of the highest ranking MGI member at that time.
Requirements to Join the Ministry of Good Intentions:
The Ministry of Good Intentions is very strict on the members that will join the ranks of the organization. Due to the amount of sensitive and classified information, we have to be as sure as possible to insure the safety of our files, members, and the citizens of the state of Argonath. The requirements to join the Ministry of Good Intentions are as followed:
- Must have a passport and a license.
- Must be able to understand and speak English.
- (Doesn't have to be perfect, as long as you are understandable.)
- Cannot be part of a crime family or criminal group.
- (May cause conflict of interest.)
- Cannot be in another division of law enforcement.
- (May create a conflict during operations or assistance calls.)
- Must be able to prove that you can work well with others and are able to follow orders you have been given.
- Must be able to communicate with citizens of Argonath in a clear and respectable manner.

The Ministry of Good Intentions is located at Area 69 in the heart of Bone County. The grounds and airspace within the gates of Area 69 restricted to authorized personnel only. Any civilian that enters the compound while a member of MGI is there will be given one verbal warning. If they fail to comply with the warning, lethal forced may be used to protect sensitive material. All guests must be authorized by the highest ranking member of MGI that is available at that time.

To the citizens of the state of Argonath,
It is with great pleasure to finally reactivate the Ministry of Good Intentions, and take part in the protection of the state and those that call it home. I want to give you my word that we will do everything we can within our power to live up to, or exceed, the expectations that you may have set for this organization. I will do my best to train the soldiers under my command to be professional and well mannered towards the citizens we vow to protect. I want to extend my hand in gratitude to those that support the MGI and have continued to support us even during the time we were deactivated. Please keep in mind that we have recently been reactivated so we are in the process of getting members. It may be a little while before you see much from us as we are short on numbers. The Ministry of Good Intentions will never be about the quantity of members, but the quality of the members protecting Argonath.
