Few questions regarding windows 10

Hello Folks,

So recently i got to know that unfortunately my hard drive got trashed but i am able to use it. However since its making alot of noises and keeps freezing i decided to purchase a new HDD. Since the HDD is completely empty with no software on it, i am wondering if i'm able to acquire windows 10 from Microsoft's website and install it via a USB on the new HDD without any charges.

Clicking the lock button was too hard for Sven it seems.

If you download Windows 10 with that tool you still won't be able to activate it without a key. And without another valid edition of Windows installed and activated you won't be able to upgrade either.
