Windows 10

So, the last days I've constantly recived messages about updating from my W8.1 to W10.

Should I do it?
Is it much different from 8.1?
And you who got it, are you satisfied with it?
If I decide to upgrade right now, what should I think of before doing it?

I highly suggest not........ i have the same thing and bothers me, microsoft just want alot of people using windows 10, i'd say installing windows 10 once some updates come out so your pc runs better..

Actually Cyril is right. Windows 10 is amazing. It's worth updating to W10 imho. It's smooth, clean and works awesome. I've had NO troubles so far. So ye, go for it!

If I'm not doing a clean-install and formatting C: first and using the upgrade option instead, is it a problem if I only have about 5 GB free space in C:?

Delete temporary files and windows.old folder.

so it's pratically just install and go? i don't need to backup certain files (games, documents etc)?

always a good idea to make a backup.

If the installation goes smoothly, you won't have to do anything. You get to keep your documents and savegames.

Windows 10 only recieves updates for a "supported lifetime" of the "device". More details on that yet to come. There is no information yet as to when the "device" is considered to have changed, a MSFT spokesperson even said that you'd have to get a new license when upgrading or buying a new device. Upgrading what? A new processor? New ram? What if i get a new harddisk and copy everything from the old one?

Until they release more details about the supported lifetime BS, i'd stay with 8.1.

If you have no problem with 8.1 then there's no reason to get 10 at the moment.

Also forgot to tell that your antivirus will be disabled after the upgrade process is complete. You may have to re download your antivirus after the upgrade.

so, i installed it just now and now my samp is lagging horribly, any ideas?
