Even if that's true, they need to be careful about it. If someone gets offended, we all know what happens, and if that's not the intention, then we don't want to head that route. :)

In that image, you are clearly joking with one another, and you both know it and agree that it's alright. The issue is when other people insult groups of people, or specific people, and take offense to it whether they know it's a joke or not.
