I vote for Arma 2 DayZ.

Reason being, i cannot run Rust or Arma III good enough. I can lend a hand in developing and maintaining the server atmosphere. If you didn't notice, when our OverPoch server was setup, i was a REGULAR player, i played for hours upon hours non-stop. So ye, i'll actively participate in an OverPoch server.

Looking forward for other people's response.

Question is have you had extensive experience with Overpoch? It's not easy to setup and requires a lot more skill than can easily be learned in a few hours lol. Activity in the game has nothing to do with it unfortunately.

You're right, i wont say i've had extensive experience but i have setup an OverPoch server before, for a couple of friends. When it comes to sqf, even you know there's not alot of people who know it. Its a shit language overall. Anyways, i could help here and there but i wouldn't say i'm a master at it.

I was refereeing to my Activity in game so you know how much i'd like our server back. I've spent hours playing then, i can spend hours playing now.

SQF is so terrible of a language that not even professional SQF developers know what it is xD. I wouldn't waste my time with it which is why I didn't get involved with the technical side of the previous DayZ server.

If we do ArmA 3 we do need to agree upon a type of server. Similar with DayZ mod we'd need to decide exactly what mod to run. I'm all for ArmA 3 RPG servers since they do actually support a large amount of PVP, considering the environment and RP setting.

We could go Arma III Overpoch Taviana. Thats fine with me, ill need some upgrades on my gear for that one though. I also dont have the game, and it costs butt load.

When you put it like that @Teddy I'm all for the Arma III one, however I do wish we get like Exile or something with zombies, I do not wish to see some sort of Cops VS Robbers or w/e there is. And not the Altis Life aswell.

And I wish we pick the Taviana-map for it since it is an exact copy from Arma II and I do really like the island.

Whatever it is in development I'm in.. My only concern is the amount of resources it may take to run ARMA III generally speaking for users with lower end PCs that could play ARMA II. I'm not sure if I can play ARMA III or not, it's worth a shot I suppose if that is what we decide to do.. However again, as Teddy has emphasized we need people that know how the functionality of ARMA III works or if we decide to work out DayZ we need someone with knowledge on the functions so we don't have the reoccuring issues we had before that caused multiple resets and loss of items, and frankly its why the server died.. When you put in all the effort certain individuals put in to have it reset because of bugs that couldn't be fixed you lose interest and you really have no motivation to continue working towards something.

Whatever the outcome, count me in, I'll find a way to make it work.

One of the reasons why me and Loris stop playin there... we kept building awesome bases and the next day boom half of it gone :P

I believe Argonath will be back as soon as the exams are over.
SA:MP server is currently in a decent state with a stable player base of around 20-25 people on a daily basis.

In the long run I'd say III but if we want veterans I'd say II with working buildingsystem
