Gun Dealing

Well, i was on another server, and they had this type of mafia/job thing, were you can sell guns to people(or give them )

I wanted to know your opinions on this, the ups & downs.
Because people like me, would enjoy this script very much as it plays the serious style gameplay out, as your not gonna sell guns at LSPD, like "LOLOLOL i sell AK47!" - Lame.

Anyways, i doubt this will be accepted anyways, but maybe if we get enough people agreeing, they will have a change of heart.

Give them, I'd definately say no, because that's like donating a military M4 to a criminal who can just shoot all the cops randomly with it.

But buy them, I would think about it. There's ups and downs in the case of buying/selling weapons like if you're doing drug deal. The up's is that there's a new type of item which people could walk around to sell with. This can make some better RP's as people can sell other things besides their own buiz products (I don't own a buiz  ) and drugs.

But I think the downs are stronger. If people want to earn money, they'd want to rise the price of the weapons higher than the price in the amnu-nation shop. The problem with that is that all buyers would prefer the amnunation shop rather than the person who walks around trying to sell weapons, making it pretty much impossible to sell weapons. Also, people can hack to generate weapons and sell them to random people, this is quite hard to notice as they generate the weapons secretly, and then they sell it at small intervals, thus making new work for the admins to commit to.

After thinking it carefully, I would say no, because of the more number of downs than ups.

What kind of weapons would be sold and how to you get access to these guns that can be sold (as in where does the seller get the stock)?

As I'm always police, I've never been to Ammunation so I don't know this, does Ammunation have any restrictions on the guns you can buy there?

How about, you need a license to buy weapons from ammunation.


And maybe a slightly illegal person could sell them to people without a license for a jacked up price.

Well i meant like this.

like a mafia arms dealer, he buys them from somewhere(i guess ammu)
And then sells them to clients, individually, gun by gun.
And when i said 'giving' i meant as just giving them free = no revenue =

And trobby, they keep the ammu's open.
Its your choice to buy the guns from the guy, or go buy it from Ammu.

So what if the guy jacks up the price a littlebit, you dont have to buy it, Its just like buying weed from speaker for 500 per 1 weed, or me for 1000 per 4 weeds.
Its called business.

If you have a store that sells M4 for 500 each. you buy 4 for ammo and 1 gun = $4,500 =
You have a Gundealer that sells M4 for 200 for 1. you buy 4 for ammo and 1 gun = $1,000.

Yep, thats one way to do it, but the lame thing is, you dont see some randomass guy selling guns on the street, cause not only is this illegal, its dangerous.

But yes, the 2nd option is the command i would go for, cause we dont know all the ID's.

And i mean, if this gets through, this can add depth & very good roleplay for mafia's and solo 'mafia style players' as myself.
Because there will be 500 gun dealers, but only 2 or 3 reliable ones.

And then it snowballs from there, extortion of other dealers, killing, robbing, etc. (all RP ofcourse)

No... I've play in that server and actually what you do is, Arms Dealers gets this job as a  armsdealer, and them he goes to this place where he can buy these materials, and the armsdealer can make guns out of these materials. the better the weapon is the more material it takes to make. And then he goes around asking people if they want to buy guns, and the price of the gun is totally up to the armsdealer, but i strongly recommand you to not do this cuz the arms dealer can just take the money, run away and not give the gun to the client :wow:, really f8cked up actually

Yes, you make the guns out of materials(it could be somthing like the drugs system, but not exact.)
And you make the price of your own, then sell them.

You have 5 guys who are arms dealers, only 1 gives you the guns in exchange for the money.
Who do you always go back to? - the guy who gives the guns...

And worst of all, the arms dealer sometimes just shoot newbs in the newb spawn after getting their  :money:, and those stupid newbs dont even care and starts thinking this server is a fucking dming server and goes dming everywhere, the armsdealer system can be described with one word: SHIT

Idon't know whats your problem with a servers with more guns, VC has loooooots of guns and DMers aren't that problematic, Idk if you noticed but Neo cops and robbers has more players than us, why not compete with other servers?
Actually, samp argo rly sucks comparing to the other argo servers, even the empty VCMP is leading vcmp rpg servers(there only one more and its always empty too.)

I like the idea of needing a license to buy from amnu-nation shop. Perhaps an even better idea is, you can only get a number of tickets to enter the amnunation shop by doing some good deeds (Though I can't think of any, copwork maybe?). Also amnunation shop owners can go in anytime. But with gun dealing, you buy weapons from another person at any time.

A way to solve that is that cops cannot go on arms deal. Arms dealer can't earn money by killing random people unless if they abuse the cop commands by false suspecting and then shooting. But if cops can't be on arms deal, then the deathmatching problem is eliminated.

I'm not sure about china, or wherever your from, but cops dont sell guns in America, or anywhere else in the world.

Arms dealing is Illegal and will get you thrown in Federal Prison.

Rofl, I wasn't aiming that on you. Besides, I'm just mentioning it shouldn't ever be involving cops.

Anyway, arms dealing seems a good idea, but it can't just simply be added without changing the amnunation shop methods.
