hide phone number

Hello guys, i suggest adding a command to hide your phone number
as /hidephone  or such command so when you use this command and someone try to /getphone  this text appears to him "player ID dont have a cell phone"

A /contacts command would solve that. Use /savenumber [number] [name]. I never liked /getphone cmd. it will be cooler if we could ask each other for our numbers.

I agree on that.

I don't support hiding phone number, this is not rpish either. "This player doesn't have a phone" is not a RPish way too. There should be instead /getphone with agreement of the player who needs your phone, and you can use it on your ID without any agreement. Which is more realistic. How so? When someone approaches to you he asks for your phone, you give it to him by /getphone or simply tell him your phone number of you know it.

/getphone is just a simplier cousin of a phonebook. If we had the ability to store other player's phone numbers (in game, no post-it notes on my desk please) and have our phone number displayed in our inventory, I would be glad. I consider this to be a minor tweak that takes time to create but bring little difference in the end.

Regarding the orignial idea... I can imagine all those prank calls already, hehe. Criminals would hide their phone numbers all the time to make the police unable to "trace" them in roleplay. If this was to be implemented, there would have to be some restrictions to it.
