Hi Argonath,

I wrote in my journal tonight and thought I should take some time out and talk on here about what has been happening. I know there's people often wondering so I should take a time out and let you know what I'm up to.

So what happened? Well to kick start the few months off I've had an interesting journey to October. So many of you know the DellStorm from inside Argonath, the helper, the friend, the community leader (ex) and if you've read up on the history I've had some ups and downs. Through finding myself throughout the years I've experienced many changes. Some great, some awesome. All worthwhile.

Know that the only way to change is the belief in wanting to change. So why did Dell want to change? Mainly because I felt like my life was going in the same pattern it always was and I wasn't going anywhere fast. From Argonath I learn't many values to do with people. Some of which I don't often express. Some won't know this, I've never told anyone. (why would I? Another change...)

From Argonath I started journeying towards more commitments I could do in real life. Remember what Gandalf said about Real Life? If not here's your chance to brush up.

Going about my life I wanted to do more, be more. Where people wanted to stop I wanted to keep going. I was given the chance to work at a local school for a few months. Helping out servicing, maintaining server systems,  windows systems, OS X systems and yes, even linux systems. (Mobile platforms too but less about that geek stuff!) These months then turned into years. In June change was happening. I had started helping students, perhaps more than the school would have liked. I journey'd forward into France, around the UK with the school, getting involved in practically everything life could offer from a school perspective. This is one of the reasons why I've become less active. Plus getting paid whilst learning on the job is awesome! I came to increase my maths level, very handy when you're working at a school as you're with so many talented individuals who have a lot of skill, plus life experience. So many great friends I've met from my time there. But that's not all, currently learning German because why not, and British Sign Language. Things certainly were looking up. But then like a lightening strike all of a sudden it seemed over. June 2015 hit and the job was gone. But I still had my other jobs (for which there are many (4) that again people didn't know about that I still continue to do today).

Life went on a change, now 29, I wanted to ramp it up. So I started getting involved more, with anything, everything I could in the four pillars of life which you all should take time out and see where you are in the areas of Health, Wealth, Love and Happiness. So Health not so bad, Wealth, well now the school jobs gone, that's a little below where I want to be. Not to be greedy but there's more things I want to do, and as most of you should know, the more you want to do in this life the more it costs. Just take it as you find it. First a car then trips then hotel rooms, you get the idea. So the next stage progresses onward, I find myself more optimistic as I'm now doing work I want to do and going places I want. There's so many things booked on my calendar now that I would have never before thought I would have dreamt of doing. Where did this idea, this mindset come from? The idea of looking around me and seeing why is that some people are doing what they want while others are stuck in jobs that they don't like, or around people or environment that they don't like. Its simple when you think about it. They just never take action to change and embrace the idea that they're going to have to sacrifice in the short term (1 - 5 years) in order to make way for the benefits that come in the long term. Think of it, is there anything that you have really wanted in your life that you were willing to spend all your money on? Is there anything that if you had $10,000 in your pocket you would go and do? Chances are you've never thought about it that way before until now. I certainly hadn't and what a change it makes. To meet people from all different walks of life, get their view on things at face value. It's great when you have the ability to do it over the virtual pathways but sometimes in life you need both. You need to develop a lifestyle. This is what I had in mind.

So a small print from my journal entry tonight:
Change is happening. My thoughts go wild. Today after yet another business seminar (signed up to about 6 business courses at various (outrageous prices!)) I find myself in a financial report of Morgan Stanley. I find myself getting feedback and recommendations from people all round the country on different aspects of life. I find myself having the ability to see how people do what they do and by meeting people, creating seeds of opportunity, some not so much than others but combined, an amazing opportunity results as I had not been able to get before. A cash deposit comes in from (redacted). A chance to get more capital from a last minute client appointment. (Result = about 24hours none stop, sleep sometimes has to wait) Yet another, then another opportunity comes in knocking at the door to make the most from life. One thing learn't today was that you can have anything you want in life if you start looking at the opportunity of what you want to have in your life experience. Make the sacrifices to get what you want out of it. An amazing opportunity now comes... (More about this later)

So there you have it. A small idea that grew and grew about getting what you want out of life and making the life you want. Remember you have two choices, to fulfil the needs of others or to fulfil the needs of yourself first. I used to get this the wrong way round. You can't help others if you can't help yourself first. So make yourself better and you'll be in a better position to help others! If I had read this back in 2012 / 2011 I would have been more optimistic to take action from listening to someone who has been where I have, knows how sometimes we kick ourselves down more than we should. This is one of the reasons I've chosen to write about it here. At least one person reading this should take something from it. Its very worthwhile you trying something new once in a while.

So where am I going from here? I've just got back from Wales in the UK having a great weekend doing things I've never experienced before. Learning about Elastomers and Poly...(Something Plasticy), plus experiencing some views I never thought existed in this world, never mind in my own country. Next week I'm headed to Birmingham to meet with a special interest group of likeminded individuals from ages 18 - 30 on all types of different subjects. Yet another opportunity! Constantly reading books, audio programs and the book list growing by the day, no doubt the 4 hour drive (+/-1hr) there will provide some great opportunity to go through another book. Then what? Well I've got Mum's birthday to look forward to, hopefully we'll get to do something wonderful together. Then what? Well how about an all expenses paid visit to the United States? Yup. Sounds like an idea. Originally it was 2 weeks, supposed to be in September, now its 3 weeks in October. So that's where I'll be from October 29th. Carrying out the dream that I set forth with the idea of what I wanted to. There's even an option to be sponsored into an MBA program. (Like seriously). I'll know much more about that when I'm there. So for those interested, I'll be in Chicago around that time if there's any people around there. Definitely looking forward to it. But that's not all. There's many other smaller changes happening. I might be going older in one way or another, but these fresh experiences of life give me another thing to look at, a new unique perspective to look at the world. Plus the experience from Argonath just strengthens this. Gandalf knows all too well what I mean by this. (Kind words on showing me my true weaknesses thanks V) I've been working hard to get to the bottom of why I work the way I do and change the ways that aren't working for me. So far so good. I've got a long way to go. But just seeing these changes with the small changes of habits, getting up early and so forth, looking at every day as an opportunity rather than a commitment that I'm forced into really give to the vitality of life.

So my message for all of you reading this, be you friend, or foe, know that I have no ill feelings towards any of you as you all must live your life your way. I realise that the people that have benefited me the most from being on here aren't the people you'd expect. Dino definitely realises the impact he has had on me but its also the lesser knows people (who should know you who are!) you have all had some impact towards me I regularly think back to our conversations and think about what I would have done differently being where I am now.

Think about the life you live now, is it the life you want that you have in your dreams? if not, why not. Are you doing all that you're capable of? Is there something that you feel you're missing out on? Is there something you can do to improve, is there something you need to do more of or less of. Also don't doubt the importance of how short life is. My dad passed away last month. Shocker right? He was physically fit, pretty attractive and not suffering from any illness. Boom gone. So that's just a word of warning. You never know what you might lose until you've lost it. Best to make the best of what you've got. No matter where you are right now or what you've come from. Know that this is just a journey along your road of life. There might be places you need to turn around or speed up or adjust to but know that everyones journey is different and what you get out of life is what you put into it.

Thanks for reading this. I hope its given you the same amount of value as it did for me writing it. Also note the power that you have at your finger tips. With an internet connection you can be in contact with Millionaires (I know I'm regular contact with about 4 of them already!). Think about the opportunity of what you have in front of you and may prosperity lead your way.

Being in contact with millionaires is one thing, becoming yourself is another.

I know several people who think that because they are in a MLM (like AmWay), they will be super rich "one day". I think there's more to it then just "following the footsteps". You, as person, need to make your own choices to reach those goals.

I think one of the most important thing is not to worship and chase wealth, but instead work on your dreams and see where you want to be.

Wealth is different for each person too.

You're very welcome Dean/Clancker.

Something that has always helped me is to write out a list of your dreams. You keep it private, something for you to see. You print out this message and others like it so that when your effort is low you look at these for inspiration. You keep adding to your dream. Talk about it to yourself over and over and make the promise to yourself of challenging yourself daily to make it your reality. Others will never write like you can write. Tell a joke like you can. Look to your inner self for guidance. Don't forget, everyone else is already taken. Be yourself, you'll be glad you did!

I was comfortable reading your adventures in life, and what life means for you, and what life means for me.
It was not so much as a eye-opener but instead a little boost.

Update this frequently with small posts so it's easier to read for us!

Good luck in your future Endeavors Dell!

Good to hear you're doing alright. Anyhow, as an IT specialist, can I ask you: should I switch to Linux? I am getting tired of the constant problems that windows gets...
