We are already looking forward to releasing another major rewrite of RS5. We have done a lot of incremental updates as well as some hefty updates. However we are looking at releasing RS5.2 sometime before the end of the year if everything goes according to plan.
What will this include? A lot of stuff we've talked about, specifically business logistics system, the stock market, and even more that we haven't yet announced.
Exact release date? To be announced as we get closer. We will eventually start dropping teasers as we get closer to that date as well. We're confident you will be impressed with these updates and we hope that you really do bare with us.
Let's talk RS6. I know a lot of people have discussed this but at our current stage we have no intention of even working on an RS6. We will continue to provide updates on the current RS5 system for another couple of years.
Until then, continue to suggest new ideas, recommend changes to existing ideas, and continue to really work with us as a community. At the end of the day us developers are creating RS5 for you. Your input should be the largest considered as you are the ones using it day after day and we hope to continue with this mindset until the end our days here. Thanks for all the suggestions, feedback, and yes even complaints thus far as it's really help us find what direction you want RS5 to go and we're confident we're on that path now.
