What happened with this client I remember players were saying it has better synchronisation then the one we are using now and we could move to it, but this discussions stopped instantly and I never heard about it again. It was locked. Maybe you had announced why the idea of moving to it was abandoned, but idk... So what happened with this client ?

It was unstable and had no server list support. It crashes more often that the current client. IV:MP is dead they stopped developing anything for it. The client we have now is most stable and most used by players.
