THE DEPUTATION STATEMENT OF THE SAPD
As the main law enforcement workforce in the state of San Andreas, the San Andreas Police Department consistently strives to maintain, preserve and enhance public safety, to effectively contribute in the diminishment of crime, to defeat disorder. In order to achieve this supreme objective, the employees of the San Andreas Police Department continuously impose themselves with integrity, reverence, and pride under the departmental slogan 'The first and last: to serve and protect'.
THE CORE VALUES OF THE SAPD
Integrity: The culture of police integrity is essential in building mutual respect between the people and the department. The San Andreas Police Department ensures that police officers operate within their legal authority, in an ethical manner consistent with the expectations of the public.
Impartiality: Police officers of the San Andreas Police Department are apt to produce decisions based on objective criteria, rather than preferring the benefit of one person over another for improper reasons.
Dedication: Dedication is a must in every representative of the San Andreas Police Department, in a way that police officers display commitment to serving the people at all times.
Honor: Police officers must regard the chance to protect the community as a great privilege of recognition.
THE HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURE OF THE SAPD
Head Command- Chief of Police:









The head employee and the principal employer of the San Andreas Police Department, as well as the head administrator of the departmental affairs. The Chief of Police's main task is to ensure the consistent and positive development of the organisation, proportional to the evolution of the community. Furthermore, the Chief of Police is also the head executive of the department.
- Deputy Chief:








The direct assistant of the Chief of Police. Responsible of keeping track of the evolution of the department as well as the accountability of the Command Staff as a whole. Similar to his direct superior, the Deputy Chief is very involved in the administrative side of the department.
Upper Command- Captain:






The direct overseer of all three (3) departmental bureaus: the Field Operations Bureau, the Personnel and Training Bureau, and the Special Operations Bureau. A Captain upholds the management side of the department, and may exert authority globally.
Senior Command- Lieutenant:





Represents the core of the senior command of the department. Lieutenants are employees that established themselves as full command members through the testing nature of self-development as Sergeants. A Lieutenant actively partakes in administrative functions of the department.
Lower Command- Sergeant:




A Sergeant is a lower command member tasked essentially with field supervision as well as providing guidance to patrol officers, however, administrative tasks are also available, notably being assigned to the leadership of a bureau. Sergeants ensure reasonable quality of field performance and service.
Non-command Staff- Supervisory Officer:



A Supervisory Officer is a competent field leader who is eligible to progress to the lower command. A Supervisory Officer is an employee who has already demonstrated glimpses of initiative and immense interest within the organisation. They are equally expected to provide guidance to the rest of the Non-command Staff with the help of their considerable knowledge and experience.
- Senior Officer:


The operational backbone of the department, represents a huge percentage of the roster. A Senior Officer has managed to justify his true colors by serving within the organisation for at least a month. A Senior Officer performs essential field duties such as; emergency response, traffic enforcement, community policing, apprehension of suspects. Moreover, Senior Officers are commonly affiliated with the role of a Field Training Officer.
- Officer:

The first rank upon successful graduation from the Cadet Stage. Officers are able to conduct basic field duties for a probationary period of at least one month.
- Cadet:
Citizens that have completed the Student Stage and are able to represent the department whilst embarking into the Training Bureau Program. A Cadet is taught necessary law enforcement information, both theoretical and practical.
SAN ANDREAS POLICE DEPARTMENTRECRUITMENT PROCESS
What do we require from you?- Must be registered in-game for at least a month.
- Must be able to have patience, a good temper and of course, be respectful.
- Must be able to understand instructions and follow instructions.
- Is in the possession of a valid passport and drivers license.
- Is not affiliated with any criminal organizations.
- Haven't been removed from the police department within the last month.
- Have not been banned recently. (If you were banned recently, you may still apply and explain what happened)
- Is open for new challenges.
STRUCTURE OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The structure of the recruitment process of the San Andreas Police Department consists of three (3) various stages, throughout which the candidate develops a considerable level of theoretical and practical knowledge related to police work, as well as a sense of working within a trained team of professionals.
APPLICANT STAGE: - Background Application (BA)
STUDENT STAGE: - Student Interview (SI)
- Student Exam (SE)
CADET STAGE:- Training Bureau Program (TBP)
- Final Examination (FE)
APPLICANT STAGE: BACKGROUND APPLICATION
The Background Application (BA): The first step into the recruitment system of the San Andreas Police Department. Citizens who are interested in pursuing a full-time career as police officers are required to submit a Background Application, containing questions ranging from personal information to professional tendencies as well as what motivates them to join the Department. This process allows the Personnel Management employees to assess and decide whether the applicant is eligible to advance to the Student Stage or not.
Instructions to complete the BA step:
- Read the Recruitment Process, About Us and Recruitment Status topics.
- Fill in a Background Application using the appropriate format.
- Remain patient until your application receives a response, usually within twenty-four (24) hours from submission.
STUDENT STAGE: STUDENT INTERVIEW
The Student Interview (SI): Upon an applicants acceptance, his/her new objective would be to conduct an in-game interview with one of the relevant employees. The Student Interview aims to gauge the said applicants roleplay ability as well as to get a clear idea of his/her personality. Ambition, interest and motivation are the main keypoints of the Student Interview.

STUDENT STAGE: STUDENT EXAM
The Student Exam (SE): If an applicant successfully passes the Student Interview, he/she is asked to complete a written examination based on the information presented by the operational handbook, under a specific deadline. The Student Exam contains several questions derived from the handbook.

CADET STAGE: TRAINING BUREAU PROGRAM
The Training Bureau Program (TBP): The core of a cadet’s journey in the San Andreas Police Department. The Training Bureau Program represents an opportunity for Cadets to reflect their theoretical knowledge in the field, with the assistance and supervision of Field Training Officers who will regularly compile patrol reports for each Cadet. A Cadet will be required to complete a minimum of ten (10) field training patrols before becoming eligible for the Final Examination, as well as attending a certain amount of training sessions.

CADET STAGE: FINAL EXAMINATION
The Final Examination (FA): Once a Cadet successfully completes the Training Bureau Program, he/she will have to conduct a final patrol in order to examine his/her field performance. The Final Examination poses as the last ability assessment phase in the Cadet Stage as it determines the future of the Cadet within the San Andreas Police Department.

NOTES REGARDING THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
- Keep yourself updated with the status of the ongoing wave, as posting a Background Application after closure of recruitment will result into an instant denial.
- You may ask questions about the process to the employees of Personnel Management, however, harassment will not be tolerated.
- Due to the departmental vision in regards to
equality of opportunities, Cadets that fail the Cadet Stage may not re-apply until the wave after the next one.
