Hi Argo!

As requested, I'm updating my status of what I've been up to with some no holes barred approaches to what I'm about to say.

So last I knew I had quit my school job, taxi company was changing and I was looking for other means of things that I needed to get done. After June going into a small life slump, losing my dad in September my life took me to Chicago and Indianapolis, including the University of Indiana. I couldn't believe this opportunity just landed on my lap. I was given a 3 week all expenses paid trip to visit the united states and I had a life changing experience.

I met with a guy called Mark who was suffering from Jaw Cancer. That's a terrible experience that I hope (Pray) no one ever has to go through but whilst I was around him, it really made me think about life in a different way. It amazing how much time we can waste when we're just doing our normal routine, but when you meet people from different cultures and life your perspective totally shifts. Mark passed away this Monday 7Th December 2015. My thoughts and blessings are with him as I can't repay him for all the things that he had showed me through the week or two that I was with him. Everything from making brownies to just how to enjoy life to even voting! He couldn't speak and it was amazing how much an iPad gave him in terms of being able to communicate (and swear).

So I spend 21 days in the states and I visit all these crazy people. I kid you not the amount of fun I had during these 3 weeks was worth it for entire year. First time in Chicago. Travelled by myself doing these crazy things. Listening to what people had to say who had a life time of experience. I met many people including their parents and got to see a whole different life. Its amazing how through one person your life can change. I would love to say more about it, but really there's 3 weeks worth of information that would take me sooooo much time to write out, the short and curly story is, I got buff really quickly from the gym membership that I had at the university of Indiana. I was waking up at 5am every day with a smile on my face in my own little apartment that I had and I couldn't believe the activities. Every day there was something to do, even on the weekends I attended music lessons!!! Insane just insane.

So after the 3 weeks I come home and I'm like, oh my god what do I do now. Then I get another opportunity land on my face. A trip to LA! (I had to pay this time) 2 day business conference that's going to have guest speakers from around the world. I thought, I just had to go. So off I go $3k later heading to LA, a place where people just stop in the middle of the freeway, pull out a finger, have a chat leave everyone else standing and then just carry on like nothing had ever happened. I kid you not! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I get to the departure are of the airport, put Uber on my phone and I get this amazing SUV (Cadalliac) Escalade driver come up and he's like Hey David, you ready? I put my gear in and we're off to the hotel. It was a hard haul, like 11hour flight. Getting up early early in the day to travel from the UK to LA get to LA make a load of phone calls, sort out my details with everyone that I need to. Ring back home to let them know I'm fine. Get the Wifi sorted, get the hotel all sorted for the days I'm there and then I just had a shower and slept.

Next day I put on my business suit and I head over to the conference. I couldn't believe it. I got there so early it was like it wasn't even on. But in those 30 minutes or so before the event I got to meet pretty much everyone from the team who was setting the conference up. I had some amazing experiences in those set up times speaking to all these amazing people about their experiences and what they were doing.

Anyway the conference was for two days and I had an unbelievable time. I would never of imaged me going to the states before the start of 2015. Never mind going to the states twice, getting things sorted, my dad dying and then be back in the UK just before Christmas.

So Argo, here's some things to think about. Think about the loved ones that you've got around you and what they mean to you. Think about the players that you have around you and what they're going through in their own life. Take an hour to speak to someone different and do something you've never done before. That's what I did. If you do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. Its an amazing adventure that I'm proud to have been apart of, I hope that you can share your adventures below.

Big Love,

<3 Dell.

When adding value gets you worse off than you were before, due to a hidden agenda against you, its time to quit. Then remember why you quit in the first place.
