A life decision

Hey everyone,
I was wondering, since i am 12 and have a long time to go before i can try and get my "Dream"
I was thinking whether or not continuing playing games at this time is good.
My dream is to play Professional football and i am a diehard soccer fan and will do anything to accomplish my dream.
Give your thoughts and comments please, this is really hard to do...It WILL be a change to life for me and i need some help...

I got plenty of time.. but pro footy... Well Just play the Game Have fun .. your 12 ... if you keep playing... then you will get in your High School teams and College teams... then maybe the Full thing

I have a monster of a kick and good accuracy, lol,my teams forwards are fast so basically my coach tells me to cross it from the right mid position behind defence and usually we score hehe

Never understimate Brazilian soccer power, dude, those kids are CRAZY with soccer, they do amazing things that you wont believe your eyes. Most brazilian boys at least know how to play a little soccer, and they are 100% uber pwnerage. U should see it. That's why (unfortunately, I daresay) that Brazil is known as a country "of soccer, carnival and hot women." Many european teams are composed by loads of brazilians.

Well Dune ... football professional level require alot of training and so on ... Usualy, recruiting people watch young of 12-13-14 years old in hope to find the next rare player. So ... I say to you better to begin now ... I remember wanting to be a hockey player ... I played since I was 6 ... but here... No recruiter would be crazy enough to come freeze his a** in winter to look some kiddo play hockey ... Then I wanted to play for a big team ... But at 17 I got a severe ankle injury, haven't been able to skate at full speed since it ... So I guess that I wasn't lucky ... You, I'm sure you'll have alot more luck and so, you should take this luck while ur able to do take it. Because if you don't do it now, u'll regret it in the future. And also, even if u don't become a great player, you'll have a good health and that is very important. If you stay in front of ur computer all the time, in a few years you won't be at ur top shape ... Better stay in shape and try ur luck than to look ur whole life goes in front of you....

IMO. you should start playing hardcore soccer, cause if you don't do it now, you wont do it later.
It's how I see it... If I would've been good in school when I was 12, I would still be good in school now.

tbh. you don't even have to be good, as long as you have a dream just go for it asap.

My dream is to do absolutley nothing then chillin' and get money for it... But that dream will most likely never come true anyway

I think you should go out and do different things and relax your mind so it's not thinking 24-7 about footie... If you dedicate your life to 1 thing that you enjoy rather than a few things you enjoy then I don't think it's really healthy.

It's always good to have a dream and a goal in life.

So i went after something more realistic which is a job in computers (Which i havent got yet  )  At least then if i dont make it as a soccer player i have something to fall back on...

ROFL @ "throw hotdog's at me " and Obi I have teh same dream than u, and next year I'm gonna go after it, I'll get into "ensino médio" (some sort of high school, lol) And I'm gonna do a test to enter CEFET, which is ze best school in Brazil and its free, but its hard as fuck to get in. You can choose the profession u want to work on, and you have free classes on them. Like, on mornings, normal high school stuff, and afternoons, classes on Scripting, coding, digital systems and stuff
