GTA 4 Multiplayer game doesnt run on clicking LaunchivMP.exe [SOLVED]

Hey man its Wilco from GTA 4 multiplayer. I play GTA4 on pc but now cant start my game because as i double clicks  LaunchivMP.exe file to start the game nothing happens and i dont know why, it started yesterday during the event, first got 2-3 crashes and then my LaunchivMP.exe file got corrupt (Which is present in GTA4 folder). I have tried to reinstall Multiplayer files from different websites but it seems that corrupt files are being reinstalled. Can anyone help me out in this issue?

Greetings Wilco,
I had the same problem before a few weeks,
All I did uninstall IV:MP, Then uninstalled GTA IV, Then Installed GTA IV and IV:MP.
This worked for me.
Try it ^^.

Thanks Alex00747,  I will do the same now. Let see it works or not. But if i reinstall the game my progress in Solo/Story mode will be lost. Any way to stop it from being lost?

There are many similar issues to yours and many have been answered down in this same section of support.
Check them out and if problems remains reply back here.

C:\Users\[Your username]\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

You can take backup of the whole folder and paste is back again after you install the game.

You don't lose the documents folder of GTA IV if you uninstall the game, but taking a backup is a good thing.

If you're using Windows 8 or 10, have you tried rebooting? (Not shutting down and starting, rebooting. It's different).
