Windows XP vs Windows Vista

As i have told my opinion to many times about vista sucks. And players says vista is the best. Other say windows xp is the best etc. Therefor i'm starting this topic to disscuss it.

Take your best arguments.

Wich one is the best? Please i want no flame in this topic so talk in a mature way.

Let the battle begin.

My arguments on why Vista sucks:

*It is not comptiable with most games for the moment.
*Was realeased to early
*Sucks graphics like candy.
*Only Vista are allowed to use Direct X 10. Fuck that.
*Voice recnognition (who wants that anyway?)
*bugs

Why i think Xp is the ideal chooise.

*It's compitiable with almost all games. Vista just see the future and don't care about old good games
*It's stable unless you crack something up in a wrong way.
*It's easy to use and have a little more freedom, Vista tries to solve problems by itself wich sucks because it can go wrong.
*Once again it's stable.

And for all you IE users who complain you get trojan with it in XP.
Stop surfing wierd sites and get a anti virus.

Woo XP ftw! I had vista it took me an hour to setup i put in a game and the whole frigging thing crashed, I needed to download a patch which took 30 minutes.. and then finally when i get my game running it's so laggy..

XP hasnt had any problems for me so far and im using IE so XP pwns

XP can use that too, otherwise recent games wouldn't run.

XP is the windows I hate the most, cause it was shitty gfx, it take too much time to open and account, it's slow and XP was much more virus than vista.

Lets make this an honest debate...

Why will Vista suck ?
- Because your PC is just up to the minimal system requirements
- Because people can not get used to new things
- Because the increased security makes you click 4 times more

Why does XP suck ?
- Because it can not use the capacity of the latest systems
- Because it has too many security leaks in its design
- Because its old

When XP just came out, the same happened. People would rather stay with the old Windows 98 (some with ME) as it looked more familiar, was tuned in so it would just crash once a day, or because the PC was just too old to run it in any way fast. Many people switched the look of XP back to W98 as they did not get used to the new way in which stuff was ordered.
Right now we get the same, but as XP has had a relatively long life compared to the earlier Windows versions that were changed after 2 or 3 years there are a lot more people who are used to it and just complain about the new issues.

I have found little problems with Vista, and am usually running 10-20 tasks at the same time. The annoying install procedures are something that are just once for most things,  as since Windows 98 I have re-installed my various PC's about 3 times. But I am of course an exception as..
1. I seem to know what I am doing
2. I accept that in a new version things are different and just explore how to do what I want

When I ordered my laptop, I thought that Vista's graphics would suck and I would end up going to the classic theme like I did with XP... When I saw Vista's graphics, I loved them....

I only know one bug that will be fixed in SP1... (Losing your resolution settings.)

Vista all the way.....

With Vista you can play ALL games, as long as you know how to set it up, usually its just setting compability mode.
About DirectX 10, that is XP sucking, not Vista.
Vista is more safe, believe it or not.
All the messages when moving folders, deleting something and security messages, can be disabled.
Graphics are so much better designed than XP.
It is stable and fast, as long as you dont download junk, or start messing with too much crap.
You can get an addon to remove all the small arrows from icons/shortcuts.
And you cannot say, voice recognition sucks, as it might be good for some people.
Vista is the ultimate choice, if you belong to the group, that has nothing against a SMALL change in layout.

The problem, as I see it, is often the users, not Vista. People try Vista for 2 days or some, and then say "OMG Vista sucks" when they didnt even give it a chance. If you get Vista, and already think bad about it, before trying it, there is no way you are gonna like it.
Im really sick of people saying Vista sucks, when they never gave it a chance. I haven't found as much as ONE game yet, that I cannot run because of Vista. So to the whiners about gaming on Vista: Go home with all that fake talking! You can play anything you want on Vista, if you give it a try, and do some settings.


Gird3r how long have you tried/used Vista? As far as I know you don't like any changes at all. Example: A quote from you "SAMP is like giving up roleplay" There is nothing wrong with you, not liking SAMP. But saying generally that SAMP sucks, is not correct as I see it. Just because you dont like SAMP, it does not mean that it sucks.

As I have said before: If all people gave Vista a chance, and started using that instead, it would be alot easier for Microsoft, to fix the bugs. Example: The new scripts from SAMP, everyone were like "Omg so much crashes" but because they had no possibility of staying on the old scripts, the bugs were found quickly, and fixed.

Theres nothing wrong in not liking Vista, but saying "Vista sucks" I think is false, as it may be the perfect system for other people.
