Thank You - To And From The Argonath Family

Was just playing around in 5.2, and had the compulsion to write a general thank you...however Teddy seems to have beaten me to it. Still gonna unload and get this off my chest. Here's what I think of Argonath.

Argonath has changed. A lot. I may be from the olden days, but I wasn't even close to the origination of the concept of Argonath. From the Mightiest of the Swedes, across the landscape;  a gem stumbled on only by a few, and appreciated by even less was born. A moment, and from MTA spawned something that has impacted my life significantly over the last 9 years. I missed a big chunk of Argonath's history between RS3-4; but I was an active player for RS1-2, RS5-5.1, and I expect to be active during RS5.2. The players names have changed, while others have stayed the same. Great players aspired to be innovative. It didn't matter if it was a DJ on /argoradio, an Armored Limo Service, or just a simply quick tutoring on the mechanics of the server to new players. We've been strict on a lot of members of this community because we have set a high standard for ourselves. Not every decision has been right in the eyes of others, but we all have been given a wonderful opportunity to take part in and experience something rather unique. A Unity with eachother that we could never find in day to day life.

Argonath has been a refuge for me in storms when shit gets too real away from the computer. No matter how dire the stress, it was always there with its' own weird little weirdness. It's been entertainment for an ungodly amount of countless hours. It's been zenful bliss being able to roleplay with other like minded individuals, and some real asshats along the way. Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of frustrations. Arguments and disagreements, loyalties divided. Come hell or high water, though, the community and soul of Argonath has been able to sustain itself and grow. Every player that has logged into our server has contributed, even if only to a ban list. No need for names, as I don't wanna leave anyone out.

As such, specially; I thank YOU, reading this. I thank YOU, Administration. I thank YOU, Criminal families and Law Enforcement officers. I thank YOU, pilots and farmers. I thank YOU, random player selling weed. That player that just lag-rammed me? Thanks! Modder car rains on top of me? Appreciated. Paramedic that takes 30 minutes to wrap my sprained ankle? Top notch. Every kidnapping and hostage situation? Added flavor. Stranded on Chiliad? Time to crash course learning base jumping. If you have ever registered an account on an Argonath server, it is YOU, that I thank.

What I mean to say, is that every aspect of Argonath has created something admirable. This is the only community I can take my experiences from and have great stories and memories about. Everyone here, and quite a few that aren't, has made an admirable legacy. Our game preference and playing style may be "outdated", but it will never be obsolete. The peculiar thing is though, that we all have our own impression of this unexpected family. Some of you hate this community. Others, non-chalant. Some will reply in agreement, others with their own opinions, and quite a few won't ever see this thank you.

So for all members of the Argonath Communtiy, I'll take this moment and just send some positive vibes out into the universe. From my busy schedules, and excuses to not do this....I acknowledge the effort, the passion and hours from so many wildly different people in different areas of the world...and have a common thread that has left a positive mark for life on my heart and soul. Thank you all.

When i saw this topic and read it, i just could anything else without dropping a statement.

When i came in Argonath my attitude was pretty much fucked up, also i almost didn't know english well only the basics, here is where i learned it, i had passed more than a 3 school teacher in the English class, but not a single one could actually get the job done in teaching, when i firstly joined Argonath it was my first samp server, so what did i do actually what almost every new samp player would do, look for easy way around, firstly tried to use money hacks but it didn't work actually as the hacked money could not be used, afterwards i downloaded a weapon hack, and started hacking weapons which actually worked, but in a period of 2-3 days i were banned, how did i got caught, well i didn't knew that admins can spectate players i didn't know what exactly they can do at all, i knew they can ban, kick and so on, so as one of the admins were spectating me, i don't really don't remember who it was,but i remember the hold situation, i were on the top of the first house where i9 was hanging in the front in idlewood as somehow i managed to get a contact with them and they recruited me, so on the top of this house i hacked my self a M4 some seconds later i got banned, however if i state my full punishment history it will take alot of text which probably anybody would not read, so let's keep the basic, i had lied multiple times and made alot of mistakes and now i am happy that i had come clean some years ago, but what really motivated me in Argonath was YairSforza without knowing me at all, he was willing to help me and give me a hand and he was the one that contacted me, he started to educate me about what roleplay is, helping me to learn better english, and that's what all those teachers didn't made to do, to motivate me, he actually motivated me to explore the world of argonath, some years back i had come clean with all my ban evades and so on, and the Administration, decided to give me just one last chance as they had to deal with my "bullshit" as this is what it was sorry for using those kind of words, so they had to deal with it pretty much enough and this was the limit, as someone back in the time said here, i don't really remember who it was "If your parents didn't teach you to behave, we will.". So Argonath was a big part of childhood, it was like yesterday when it was 2010 and i were 12 years old, and now i am still here after all this time i will be turning 19 in 2 month, 6 years in Argonath, Argonath changed me alot and it changed me the good way, I feel Argonath as my second home, this is for real the place when too much problems are taking place in your real life, you could always come in Argonath even when you are stressed, it's just the atmosphere in Argonath that will let you chill for some time and have a break from all of them as you relax, i would like to thanks the Development and everyone else that had made this possible, i want to thanks the players for choosing Argonath and making it the comfortable place that it is now, i want to thanks and apologize to alot of people, i want to thanks them for giving me chance after chance after chance when i had fucked it up every time, i want to apologize to them for my attitude towards them when they were just trying to help me and giving me chances after chances when i screw it up over and over, there are two specific individuals on the top of that list Huntsman/Max and a guy that most of you may know now he is known as Jack_Cortez, i want to apologize for every single insult, every single harm and everything that i had "fucked up", i hope both of you and everyone else would accept my apology for all my actions and we could continue further with letting the past behind us. And in the end i want to finally thanks the whole Argonath and Argonath it self, thanks you all for being here, for making this place what is it now. Argonath is really a home, it's our home and it's in our hands to keep this home up in the future, thanks the hold development for making RS5.2, for dedicating your time for our pleasure. Thanks you all.

Argonath will stay alive as long as all of us take care of it, and always it turns that Argonath is taking care of you too.
