Oh, hello there! you hear a voice say. Turning, you see a man sitting by a campfire, warming his hands.
Spare a dollar? he asks. It looks like he hasn't eaten in weeks, and sure hasn't showered in even longer. The cold wind blows slightly and you feel a shiver run down your spine. You have a strange feeling about this man....almost like you've seen him before, but can't place where. Digging into your pockets, you pull out some change and toss it to the man. He catches it like a pro.
Thanks. Come... he says and motions you over to the fire. Reluctantly, you do. Sitting down on an old stump you can feel the relief of warmth spreading through your body.
I can see in your eyes, that you like stories. Why else would you be here? he pauses and coughs heavily. I've got one that you'll like. It's the story of our own hero...and villian. I'm talking about the Nomads, of course. His voice trails away as you fall into the story, mesmerized.

Our story begins in 2016, in the dark of night. A caravan rolled into the sleepy town of Fort Carson like metal thunder, they picked the strongest defensible position, and set up a mobile outpost, ready to disappear at a moments notice. The Nomads of Carson Motor Club are a loose knit organization, from fringes of society, the marauders and mercenaries of the dunes. Second-chancers. All banded together with the relentless pursuit of freedom, open land and air, and a comfortable lifestyle outside the rule of law.

The Nomads of Carson diversified in activities, ranging from street races and events, to Camper and equipment sales, from oil wells to quarries. The love of motors keeps their drive going. Motorcycles, Muscle/Drift cars, Monster Trucks....you name it, if it has an engine, a Nomad has likely worked on it at some point. As such, it not uncommon to find these desert nomads in the heart of the city racing in illegal circuits. Not surprising that they have chosen their mobile camp to rest near Octane Springs. Dawn broke over the horizon that Monday morning that changed everything.

Rules

• Follow and Obey All Server Rules
• You are free to have other associations with neutral or allied groups
• Always roleplay situations to the fullest extent possible
• Always respect other Nomads and other MCs
• Follow the chain of command, and openly challenging Dominus class orders may lead to Demerits
• All members must have backstory and first/last name for RP
• Put an honest, constructive effort towards improving the group and server
• Use common sense
• If you are unsure, ask!

Information

• CB: Private reserved channel for Clergy/Dominus/Initiated members. Separate channel reserved for Public broadcast and un-initiated.
• Skin: You can pick whatever skin you choose, but may not change it after joining when RPing.
  You may, however, leave the group, change skin, change name, and return as a different unrelated character as a Convert. This includes EXILES.
• Vehicles: You must own a vehicle of some kind. (This rule is not strictly adhered to for recruits)
• Other Groups: You are allowed to be part of other clans, groups, gangs, or other organizations that are not classified as "heathens".
  Members of government and law enforcement can never rise above "The Un-Initiated".
• Tag: A group tag is not required, however a RP-suitable name is required (First, First/Last, Handle)
• Metal Merits []: These are Metals (Medals) your character can wear as a sign of respect, and show major contributions to the group or server.
• Demerits []: Demerits are given for rulebreaks, server or groupwise. Excessive begging, un-Nomadic behavior towards other players/staff, etc. These take 1 month to fall off, 3 demerits lead to Exile.
• Exile: Group banishments sometimes happen, but are not permanent unless you continue you break rules.
• Redemption: You may be re-instated with your prior rank if you exhibit good behavior during Exile and wish to rejoin.

Chapter 1-1 : The Grove Street Deal

F**king Mondays. Always the worst. Another day wasted, not much of a step closer towards the Wanderer's promise to Jackson. Even though the Nomads had been in Fort Carson for near a month now, he had to get out of the town for a minute. Las Venturas? Too neon. San Fierro? Too hilly. Angel Pine? Yeah. Right. Those crazy farmers and the Liberation army. No. He knew where to go.

He picked up James for added security, and of course someone to talk to. They drove around Los Santos....seemed quiet. No cops, no cars, few people out and about...Wait, who was this? Hmm. Let's see what he has to offer. As the obviously Grove Street member walked up to the car, even James caught a whiff of the potent marijuanna smell coming from him.

After a short haggle, the Wanderer and Grove came to an agreement on a Kilo of some of that fine Ganton Green. James and the Wanderer followed the Grove to a nearby back alley.
