Chapter 2-4 : Can't Stop The Signal, Mal

A few days had passed, and Flint Country was still in disarray. Most of the Lawdogs were tied up with the Freedom Fighters, and had left the Nomads alone...and that was the time they needed to start moving forwards again. Jackson had been spending his free time close with the Flint Liberation Army fighting the good fight, like a true Nomad would.

Tensions with the Lucianos had subsided and eased, and business arrangements were being made again. The cease-fire seemed to be holding, as long as both parties were profiting. The Wanderer changed into his old Mechanic jumpsuit and headed to Los Santos to make a few more deals...this time for Gems mined from the quarry.

After donning his desert gear again, he made his way to Pershing Square for a bit of reflection. The last Nomad meeting had raised a few interesting points about his pet project, the Furniture Store. It had been performing poorly, and taxes would be due soon.

Would it be better just to sell the store and shift assets? He pondered from the best view of Pershing. The gas station was still quite lucrative, though. Even if it was just a meeting spot at times. The parking lot there is worth more than the whole furniture store.

The Wanderer made his way back to the lot, as one of the newer Nomads was showing promise and skill at cooking meth. A few other potential prospects had surfaced as well, as the Nomads continued to grow in strength, numbers and support. They weren't an Army like FLA, but then again...they weren't at war either.

After moving a sizeable chunk of product, there was enough funding for the next expansion...the old radio station in Fort Carson. The Nomads ended up remodeling the entire place, bringing another spark back to life in Fort Carson. The Wanderer sat down in the studio, gazing at the equipment and smirked.

Now all that's missing is an ArgoRadio DJ, and some FLA propaganda to spread.

Chapter 2-5 : Summit

The Wanderer's phone rang.

Hello?
Yeah...is this V from Carson?
Speaking...who's this?
Pete McMurphy...we have a mutual acquaintance. Duke Manson? he heard through the thick irish accent.
Sure. What's going on?
There was a slight sigh. Prolly best if ya come down to Verona Beach Pier to chat...

The Wanderer hopped into his Buffalo and headed towards Los Santos. He hadn't seen Duke in a little while, So, this should be good... he thought. Arriving at the pier, he went into the Angels of Deaths' bar. A prospect greeted him, as the Irishman motioned to sit at one of the tables. After bringing the men beers, the prospect went about his duties.

The lengthy conversation can be summed up...Duke Manson was missing/killed in action somewhere, and the Angels Camp was dividing. They came to a business agreement and offered support as the other needed. The Wanderer accepted the details for the Nomads, except wearing any MC patch. Not since Liberty City. he answered when asked why not. Some things are better buried and in the past.

Thus, the Angels of Death and Nomads became Blood Brothers.

It wasn't long after returning to Fort Carson, when the Wanderer's phone rang again. The Army Council leader of Flint Liberation Army made a special trip to Fort Carson, as he had gotten word from Jackson that the Wanderer was seeking a Summit. At the Broadcasting Studio, the Wanderer offered it to the FLA for usage as they saw fit and for any FLA ArgoRadio DJs. Hubbe gracefully accepted and they solidified the bond between groups. The Wanderer smiled, things hadn't run so smoothly...Not since Liberty City.

Thus, the Flint Liberation Army and the Nomads became Blood Brothers.

Hubbe had left when the Wanderers' phone rang again.
What now...? he thought, answering the call.
There was a pause, followed by a sharp inhale followed by a pause. Vaeldious Coronis... the voice said. ...You are indeed a hard one to find.

The Wanderers' blood ran cold. He hadn't heard that voice in a long time.

Not since Liberty City.

Chapter 2-6 : Revenant

The Wanderer called Jackson away from the fight in Flint Country.
What's up, boss? Jackson asked.
He couldn't tell him the whole truth. Not about this. I've got a business trip to go on. In the meantime, you'll be acting leader of the Nomads of Carson. He gave Jackson a laundry list of things to do and not do in his absence. Keep up the good work, and don't break anything while I'm gone. The Wanderer joked.

He called up the Pastor from the church he had recently made a major donation to, for a ride to the airport. The entire ride, he said nothing, though the Pastor tried to make conversation. They arrived at the airport, and the Pastor offered to come along, if the Wanderer needed his help.
For where I'm going, and what needs to be done... he paused for a moment. ...I sure as hell hope I don't need a Pastor.

As he boarded the Andromeda, the skies darkened and it began to rain. Seated by the window, he watched the runway slowly disappear and the ominous black clouds grew larger as they ascended. His mind kept going over what all the caller had said. How is she still alive....after all these years? He wondered.

No matter. He knew what had to be done. Hopefully he would be back soon and no one would ever know what he had done. If not, Jackson was entirely capable of leading. If not... He dared not think about it further, and focused on what was waiting for him in Liberty City and what it meant he may have to sacrifice.

Glad people are enjoying reading the tales as much as we are enjoying the RP of it.

Just got the call in, and clocking out for vacation now. Ill be on the forums likely, but I'll see you all in-game when I get back. I won't have Skype available, so if you need to get in touch with me, PM me here on the forums.

Until I get back around the 27th, I'd love some feedback from those of you following this, as far as where to go from here, speculation of who the caller might have been, what "needs to be done" and so on. Any friends, associates, enemies, and even our boys in blue are welcome to chime in.

Chapter 2-7 : Over Take

Upon the Wanderer's sudden leave, the Nomads are still fully committed and running everything since his leave. The Wanderer's partner has taken up some past clients, keeping his business men happy. After a sudden phone call of one of his well known buddies, S travels to the lot to with hold a transaction.

Since the Wanderers leave Makala has been doing everything in her power to keep the Nomads running smoothly. Not knowing the time of the Wanderers arrival, Makala is trying to keep everything as organized and well managed when he decides to come back.

Before the night came to a close, Makala checked all of the campers and the windows making sure they were all secure and able to make it through the night in case something horrible out takes.
