Like every other Battlefield. It lacks the hook that keeps you playing that many other games have. Like a competitive mode / ranking or such

I just bought that DLC with 8$ at the first of it's release, I regret wasting that money while it went down to 1$-2$ now.
I even regret buying Bf1 , such a waste of money , I just played it the first week than drop it away.

Doesn't need a competitive mode even though BF will be branching out to do just that.  Intense matches aren't a rare find.

Yeah i did , I was such noob on the game and i didn't get more than 5kills on each game wich took more than 30mins, I honestly enjoyed the story mode and how original it is and touching , then moved to online and got rekted , i am used to cs:go and its gameplay so i find it strange to play this way.

Give it another shot, if it's your first time playing BF which I assume it is then you ain't going to be dropping motherfuckers easy.  It's like CS:GO takes time to learn what's what.

If you are playing alone I can understand but if you have one or two mates playing with you it's a lot more fun!

Yeah, takes time to learn every map, gun and gadget.

I really don't know if I will get this game ever, I am not really into old style WW MMO without modern weapons so eh.

@Hernandez CS:GO and BF series can not be compared.. TL;DR CS:GO is for fast-small rounds kills while BF needs actually many play hours in order to unlock a few things and start owning Dem Noobz. I bet you might like Battlefield's Team Deathmatch mode which is identical to CS:GO rounds. (Small maps, fast respawn just plain DM)

I am not a person who wastes whole days playing games , especially FPS games , but i have to say that there are such good games that are capable to enthrall you playing a huuuge ammount of time without even noticing it.
I have played call of duty black ops 3, my first cod as im new to the COD saga and i really enjoyed it but up to a certain point , the campain wasnt anything special , the zombies mode neither but the multiplayer was quite Amazing! btw the servers were very very laggy and it had its flaws that really disappointed me , it was even impossible to finish a match sometimes or play properly with 500+ ping :/
Now i got obsessed by black ops 1 , the zombie mode i mean , its maybe the best call of duty black ops out of the series (i played also the 2 )
Btw personally i prefer Battlefield as its way more a 'realistic game' , it is cool and very enjoyabel but when u have to play matches for 60 minutes or so it becomes very annoying. at this point i prefer cod and its 10-20 matches. its like more encompassing at some points, also that fast and easy weaponary selection and their fittings.
btw, talking of BF I didnt play a lot BF 1 , sometimes with my friends on their consoles and personally i prefer Battlefield 4 rather than 1. BF1 is veryvery similary to the 4th but it has its new graphics, seem to be nice  even if played on a console.
however i prefer more actual games , bf has a huuge + against cod for its huuuge ammount of weapons , vehicles , accessories , thats why i appreciate it more. perosnally i prefer a game that is not taking part in WW1 , but rather something like cold war (for its equipment and weaponary ofc ) or modern era, if its about old conflicts, WW2 has a better plot in my opinion ( like cod waw , gr8 game ).
however this is my personal wiev.

You will get bored from any Multiplayer mod without playing with freinds. So don't blame the game.
