I voted 'other', so, here goes: I really liked GTA Vice City and I also really liked multiplayer games because of Wolfenstein ET and other first person shooters. Thus I googled ''Vice City Multiplayer'' and found out about MTA:VC and later VC:MP. I played in MTA:VC in 2006 and met [FS]Massimo there and a bunch of others (some of whom are still around), another Dutch player. We kept talking on MSN and later he told me about SA:MP. I joined, he pretty much scammed me for my welcome cash and left again. :D

That was in February 2008. I looked up Argonath somewhere in june or july that year and was welcomed back by people like Tovenaarke and Lavamike. Great guys. The rest is (Argonath) history.  :lol:

You could add ''from Vice City'' as option. The MTA:VC server brought a lot of guys to the SA:MP server and over the years a lot of people have entered the SA:MP community through VC:MP.
