@Xyliosius and @superheldo were two IRL friends that had introduced me to argonath. They have stopped playing for quite some time, though.

Only joined Argonath after being banned from a deathmatch server on MTA:VC.  Days after joining I got tempbanned and didn't care to comeback but did after a few weeks after I was searching for servers and seeing Argonath was the more populated one I connected.  Admin who banned me knew who I was, we hung out for the day and taught me roleplay basics which I then used when joining my first clan and pretty much went on from there.

Just shows you that sometimes those we label as "rule breakers" just need time to develop!

I used to play with some brazilian friends and BlackEagle (Lance Wilson) at other RPG server - As that other server became decadent in late 2008, i tried out Argonath (that was in VC:MP).

Started out on LSRP  in 2010 with some friends and then we started "side-playing" on Argonath when we needed a bit more relaxed RP.

Back in the days I got introduced to SA:MP by a good friend, he went by Maximus(Forum account I think it was) and his in-game name was Jonathan_Weedes and Jim_McNulty. Not many might remember him but he is the reason I got into SA:MP. Later I introduced my cousin if people remember him "Ayden/Custom" that also played quite a lot.

They left the community after a short while, but for some reason I am still around

I used to play samp on my friends laptop like 5 years ago, but he was getting pissed that I made him banned for like two times, yeah I was a big troll when I was on cop-duty back in the days haha, so he installed it on my own computer and I started playing, never used the forum in the begin, good times.

A RL friend of mine told me about GTA SA having a multiplayer mod, I installed it, was trying to join his own server and didn't know what to do, I clicked on Internet then on the first server name I saw (which was Argonath) then connected and here I am. And since then I never joined my friend's server

I was bored some day in 2007. Remembered that years earlier I'd read someone was developing a mod called multi theft auto for vice city. Figured it would probably be out, so went and checked and then downloaded it. Argonath was the first server alphabetically that didn't have a stupid name so I joined that one. Eventually some shit went down and I went onto Argo SAMP instead of MTA:VC, flew a hydra into a marathon and stuff, all good.

Like literally if I'd sorted that list a different way, or you guys had named the server something else, or I simply hadn't been bored that day I wouldn't have joined and wouldn't have spent like 4k-8k hours playing/forum posting. I'd have never met a whole bunch of people I know now. I'd probably be like a totally different person. Isn't that a weird thought?
