what do mayors even do? what powers do they have? what do they have to take care of?

is it some scripted role where you get to play SimCity/Cities:Skylines:GTA Edition and have to keep the city prospering by managing a budget (taxes, funding, etc)?


Play for fun and friendship, not for stats or achievements.

+ Candidates must meet an activity requirement of at least 30 hours within the past 30 days (at point of announcing candidacy).
+ During the period of campaigning, elections, and term of mayor; person must maintain regular activity

Can anyone tell me some more information regarding voting? I've been asking around and I'm not getting clear answers. As in voting for 1 candidate, can you ACTUALLY vote for 1 candidate, or can you vote 1 candidate/city ?

You can only for one person in the entire state. If you vote for someone in Las Venturas, you may NOT vote for someone in Los Santos and San Fierro as well.
