GTA Vice City 2

Ok, everione knows how GTA4 will be, atleast, theres already a bunch of details around it.
But you should have noticed how rockstar haves a kind of routine when launching their games.
So it's very plausible that Vice City 2 is released on the console a year after GTA4 has been out on pc.
Everyone likes Vice City story line, unless you rly like the gang stuff.
The thing is, Rockstar doesn't seem to want previous series characters showing up on this new titles, so the main question is, how will they get an 80's Vice City without having Tommy Vercetty or the Vance brothers there?
I really want to believe they will maintain the success formula of the 80's Miami.
Although they can also make a plot based in the actual Miami about a Cuban refugee that goes to VC in search for freedom and faces a freedom not wanted, the reality of drugs and all that shit.
This way they could keep the Scarface inspiration and also getting the actual facts from CSI miami with the mala noche gang and such things, and since theres also the new miami vice movie and bad boys 2, they have lots of places where to get inspiration from.
Dunno, what do you guys think? I don't want to discuss the gameplay cause it will certainly not change from GTA4.

What about it, they will just make a plot that fits a UMD and it's done, if it sells, they export it to PS2 and end of story, characters should be almost the same, it will probably have ceaser has main character and CJ won't be there cause he's on Liberty City or VC doing whatever he does there.
That shows how sucky the SA plot is, they don't even explain where CJ flies from, I assume it's from LC cause the GTA3 guy say he's going the west coast and we all know he ends up in LC.
Actually SA has so many plot flaws that I would take a hole topic page writing them.
For example, the game goes around "the hood" and the gangsta shit.
But CJ goes out of the hood and yet, for how much CJ travels some grove street or balas guys shows in is way every time.
And CJ gets to be like this multimillionaire with a bunch off assets but he never gets to looks like one, no good suits for him to hear, his meetings are always informal, like playing console with woozie(that I must say it's the best design character in the game).
That reminds me of other thing.
The way CJ meets other guys, it's like "Hi, I'm (random name) from now on I'm like your bitch and you can count on be for everything"
CJ has no class and the voice actor, same shit.
Nothing that can be compared to Tommy, played by Ray Liotta that is a good actor and his very suited for the job.

i think that Tommy Vercetti is the best character in the GTA series and VC is tyhe best game IMO, i'd like SA stories to explain how his bro died etc

I have to say, I found the Voice Actor and the general character of Tommy Vercetti a lot better than CJ.

Unfortunately, to play as Woozie you wouldn't need a Screen (he is blind, you know). However, I would love to play as a Triad Gangmember in San Fierro. That would pwn ass.

I don't like how in SP there is the whole Mafia and Triads thing going on in SF & LV, and we're stuck in LS in one of the crappiest gang setups ever. 
They should release another SA game before the big earthquake in San Fierro. Then they could change the map quite a bit, and also you could be a Triad.    Screw CJ, I mean, you could do things in Los Santos - but you would still be a Triad.
Even better, make a game that runs before, during and after the earthquake in San Fierro.

It is my opinion that the whole VC story is technically very much Vercetti/Vance, and there isn't really that much more to tell. That said, you could play a story before (or even, during) 1986 - the Vice City storyline.

I agree that CJ was the most explained character, with the most background, I just preferred Tommy.
