Pay to get boosts or items ingame? Hell no. Wanna donate? Fine, you get a badge on the forum called "Donator" and maybe the possibility to access to new features ONLY to help the development and not to shout it around.
If you need donations so badly this is the only way to keep it balanced enough. People will only "donate" to get their perks instead of doing it to help the owner in paying the bills. I ain't going to bother playing here with a system that gives you the possibility to use real life cash to boost some of the gamemode features. (Even notoriety, go fucking earn it)

I wouldn't want people to be able to pay for houses, if anything it should be for weapons like chainsaw, minigun, grenades. Also to pay for certain /wear items.

That gives advantage to the real life rich people. The thing is if you want more players to donate money, make everything equal, not buyable. Make that /character buyable for example (that's the only worth buying thing, and players are pretty equal in social class). I assure you, if that capitalist bullshit become real more people will leave the server.

Also it will increase the corruption and will bring only discord. Extra characters and little donator icon is the only thing that could be if not useful, at least not useless. But the idea is dumb. If people start buying things, I'll leave.

I believe keeping things on a purely cosmetic level is better, even if it won't get you as much money as boosters and crap like that. This way, at least, won't piss off so much people.

Ideas:
- Attach spoilers to vehicles who normally can't have them, custom exhausts to cars that don't have visible exhausts (for example side exhausts on Sabre), etc.
Only issue is that, as far as I remember, parts who use car color IDs will show up as grey. There's some neon objects too, but they have some terrible 2DFX parameters that make the surrounding lighting absolutely horrible so it's understandable that you don't add these.
Before some people say it is not possible, it HAS been possible since 0.3c or so.

- Following the same idea above, you could add speakers (there's a few good objects for that) in vehicle trunks as well, or in the back of pickups. If it is possible to have 3D sounds attached to vehicles in SA:MP, you could add these looping music themes that GTA SA has, allowing other people to hear it. Not sure if that is possible in SA:MP, though, in fact I'm almost sure it is not.


- Ability to add hats, sunglasses, etc. This has also been possible for a while. I know that positioning them for each skin is a pain in the ass, so maybe leave that to the player? But you should still control it as you wouldn't want people with flying hats or other dumb looking stuff like that.

- As some users mentioned before, custom mapping would be nice, but It'd need a good quality control scheme set up. You don't want badly mapped stuff. Keeping the amount of objects to a minimum should be encouraged, because as we know SA:MP object streamers are shit, it's almost the SA:MP motto after all. (even MTA:SA has some issues with it).

Well, provide the argument than. Special wearables is not something that gives an advantage over other, neither pay to win. As you have said yourself "appearance things only". Faster skill increase is just putting a bit less work in gaining those skills, seems like a reasonable compromise. If in your opinion both these ideas are pay to win or gives too much advantage, almost all ideas provided in this topic are unsuitable, leaving only something like a forum/panel badge.

Custom maps, scripted HQ, script support for normal groups/individuals. Cash as well but i see no reason, its easy to farm.

What i wouldnt want others to be able to get by pay is anything others cant get with their own effort.(eg official groups can get hq/script support/map requests. People who farm cash get cash).

Then, celso's idea to pay real cash for nrg/infernus. I would agree on this but only if players could buy these too but for way higher amount (eg 500k nrg 1m infernus, 2m for heli,  5m for shamal..)
