I don't know if this idea was suggested before, but i like to mention this one.
I can't see any benefit from storing the cash in the bank, interest rate shall be added.
For example, let the interest rate be 4% and my bank balance = 1000$.
Each month IRL I receive 4% of my bank balance which is in this case 4*1000/100=40$.
Hope it is implemented to make the bank useful!!

There's already an interest rate in our banking system mate. You have to deposit the cash in a Savings Account and every Sunday you get like 0.8% of the amount you've got in it.

Also afaik there is a 1 million cap on ut so 1000000 x 0.008 to calculate p/week
