Yes this topic was inevitable.
For those living under a rock, Pokémon GO is a location-based augmented reality mobile game developed by Niantic. The game allows players to capture, battle, and train virtual Pokémon who appear throughout the real world. It makes use of GPS and the camera of compatible devices. Although the game is free-to-play, it supports in-app purchases of additional gameplay items. An optional companion Bluetooth wearable device, the Pokémon Go Plus, is planned for future release and will alert users when a Pokémon is nearby.
Currently it's only available in the US, UK and Australia on both iOS and Android but you can download the Android APK from any site online(Android only, sry iShit) so you can play it anywhere before it officially releases in your country. It's 2 AM but a walk around the neighborhood got me a Bulbasaur and a Cubone. Has anyone tried it yet?
