When Gandalf last wrote about the history, we had a problem. A server in Canada would have too high a ping for European players, and that is where the main base was. We had to move.
Luckily one of the datacenters I worked with just opened VPS services. They were a rock-solid company in Germany with a top data center, and more important a high amount of free bandwidth. Cost was similar to the Canadian server, who refunded our investment.
The new VPS was giving a great ping. Server was running and testing was now done on this server. With all owners present (and some invites) it ran smoothly.
The wizard scripts were nearing completion, the main properties being set and even the bankrob was working as expected. Just a few tweaks and the promised date of August 1 for the opening seemed easy to make.
