Hello,

My laptop OS is corrupted (BSOD) and the only way to fix my OS is to download Windows 10 on a USB flash drive and then attach it to my laptop, I downloaded the media creation tool to download the windows and chose "create installation media for another pc" and chose the media to use "USB Flash Drive", I attached the clean USB drive to the laptop so i download the windows on it but when select a USB flash drive, the USB which is attached doesn't show up in the setup for some reason, Although the Laptop can read the USB and i can open it..

I need someone who has faced that problem before and has a solution for it, so i can fix my laptop, I tried so many ways to fix it and also contacted Microsoft and yet i still can't select the USB i connected to my laptop..

Thanks in advance.

Download Windows 10 as an ISO. And then use Rufus USB tool. It works great.

Yes, I have already done that after i posted here, I was not sure if it would work though as an ISO and then use a program to write a desk image, I used Ultraiso btw.

I'm now re-installing the Windows and i'm so happy because i finally have the windows on my USB.

Thank you, to be locked.

For future reference - this.
Windows 10 ISO can be downloaded from Microsoft website.
Rufus has got to be the best working tool for bootable USB creation as far as I know.

Anyhow, locked.
