I want to see it, to go wild in large-scale roleplay spam.. and still see what needs to be seen
The problem numero uno
The higher the amount of players in roleplay, the higher the spam! Hard to track.. especially for admins [RIP^2]
The idea 1
Ability to cut down public chat with something similar to /cb off. Just now we would go for something like /public off, similar to /cb off
Possible issues
I currently do not see any.. except maybe endangering stability of the server.
Besides that, the only thing that falls to my mind is that you won't see any messages from newcomers [They still have /ask to spam administration, fok yea], but in general.. you can always turn it on when needed
This should cut only public chat messages, and not for example /ad, any admin /pm or /cb message.. just, strictly.. message for which we used only ` text or T text
The problem numero duo
Alright, you have your public chat filtered out.. you also maybe cleared out your cb, but still.. the spam is too damn high, the lines keep popping out faster than new updates for win 10
The idea 2
Add some kind of function that allows us to send "personal messages in local chat" that are visible to all players inside of specific local chat range, but to that player.. are colored differently
Example: /l2 text - Sends player with ID 2 personal message that is colored green, while to others it is displayed as regular local chat

Why don't you just go along with /l and.. nO!

This could even maybe be used instead of default /l /w /s.. so that we just stick along with /lID, /sID /wID and delete /l /w /s thing..
..of course, only if this whole thing can't be added along side of the current system?
Personally, I would like that.. but that's just me, I go cuckoo sometimes
