Uber for Argo Taxis

Hey people,

Just a script suggestion. Taxi job is pretty boring right now and doing /taxi or calling for one results in nothing.

Earlier in RS4, at least /taxi, /bus worked like /ad and then people could get on duty and go pick the fare. Now there's just, nothing. A taxi guy currently makes next to nothing.

Times are changing, and so should Argonath. I believe we should implement an Uber system, which shouldn't be very hard to do.

Basically in Uber, everyone and every vehicle is a Taxi. When somebody calls taxi, everyone on the server gets notified, then somebody has to /acceptfare as usual and they can offer a ride to the person in their own personal vehicle. Some basic rules / commands could be.

/taxioff to not receive any notifications regarding taxi request.
The taxi driver must be driving their own, private vehicle.
You can only also for /taxi, every 3 minutes to prevent spam.
You dont get paid for normal passenger, only if the person requested a taxi and you accepted their fare.

This could really benefit all the players as people often get stuck in country side and desert and try taxi but there's no one. But there are usually some truck drivers or fast cars driving around in the area, they could very easily make a living off of it and people won't abooze /rescue for these matters.

Add /taxi and other commands back, I said during testing and said again, not all people who are willing to give you a ride go on taxi duty, back in RS4 you could /taxi and a random fireman dude who was in the neighbourhood growing weed will come pick you up, it should be the same now.

Exactly. Plus I'd love to give someone taxi service in my private vehicle, Duneride, infurnus etc.

Why cant you go on driver duty (be green) and just drive around in your own car..? Exactly the same concept, no more work for developers.

If you want to be Uber: I am looking for someone else to take this over.
