Not to be an asslicker here, but he's really not the only one to blame for this mess. I'm sick and tired of people constantly complaining about everything. Whether that's new scripts, or anything really. Being the HQ is really a pain in the ass from what I've seen so far.

And yes, I do not really see the point of bringing such a DM addition to Argonath but I'll at least let it be for now just to see how it goes. If there's to be a dead end, so be it. At least you can all stay here and shout "We told you so".

Im not going to try and choose a side here . Im only going to say what i see and know so far . I and so many others applied to be mods+ for  Argonath and when the new wave  then ones chosen were selected for a new role. A Helper, we were chosen to keep an eye out for new players, to help them to guide them and to lead them  we were set as a stepping stone to help them learn and adapt and enjoy the server,  if they needed help they were introduced  to /H  which would allow them to  ask any questions they need help with..this isnt just for new players its open for old and new alike but  im not focusing on the   Veterans here. My gaze is on the new players.  i understand   you want new players Gandalf and you are  trying to implement new things to spice the game play   up  but what you do not see is new players have every chance to learn and stay  when they join  they have the helpers to help them , after a few days they have the Regular players to help them and after they get their passports and such they have the Veterans to help guide them to groups to find them a place to fit it and if it is needed the  mods + to up hold the rules. Its  not always fun being a Helper sometimes i and im sure many of us can agree with me here but i have  seen people register and i have gone to them to help them, to  answer questions  and lead them to a car  to  help them with a job  and upon arrival been met by carjacking or  constant punching/hitting been met with being thrown  in the air, been shot , blown up, talked down to and many other things. So yes sometimes its needed to ban those new players  but i have seen  in many cases staff members instead of banning this person freeze them talk to them try to explain and  then kick them with a note saying remove the hacks and  freely return. i have seen some players  return without hacks  and i have seen some return with them anyways and get banned. But i  can somewhat see where Gandalf is going with this, i dont fully agree with it yet,  but thats because i dont know it well enough to say anything. he is only trying to spice of the game play some to make a new attraction to the server. I dont like the Idea but im willing to give it a shot of course.  As i said above im not trying to pick a side, i am merely trying to shed some light on  a few things. Thank you  for taking the time to read this (if you did) and i hope it helps . (sorry for a last response. i tend to sleep during the day )

Calm down, mate. I bet Gandalf is not the simpleton he appeared to be. Maybe if he comes online more often he can stay in touch with the roleplayers and see what is actually happening. Times change. It's not the old generation that wants to learn things and explore the world. It's a generation of spoiled kids with a lot of ease given.

Oi people, the only new thing this update brings, is Teddy's island and map colors. Profiting from a territory you own? Was already there, since rs5.2. Matter of fact, it required 70% of all business in the area, so you would control the territory. Now it's 51%. So, instead of complaining, you should be happy. You don't have to work all that hard anymore to gain control of 70% of the total businesses. Colors and notifications, big fucking deal. Not all the map will be colored as you put it, or whatever you fear.

Shall i remind you that you guys have been doing it for years? Coming into grove and saying "get the fuck out of here, this is our turf" just to cause mess and dm fests? I do remember all of you doing that everytime you had the chance to and as you can see you guys didn't need a territory script to fuck around, it's the mentality of almost every single player who doesn't give a damn about getting a proper reason to fight which ruins the fun, not a script that adds just colors. I'm against this script for this exact reason, it will be misused and the way it works doesn't exactly make it good for a roleplay server like ours, which recently turned into TDM type of "interactions" where basically you are either a cop or a criminal fighting for some unknown glory.
I don't really think that a script which makes you hunt zones will bring the true gang wars that you want, Gandalf. I'm all up to see how this turns out but if your intentions are to have more new players, pushing away every regular and rejecting every idea you don't like without even giving it a try ain't going to work.

Killed some ballas and moved on, that's how it goes. I won't go and claim idlewood. Why? Because it's ballas, they won't just move to another place, they literally play at gs9.

Stop playing innocent trying to turn this thread into another shitstorm, it's obvious you don't know half of the things that your group has been doing for the past two years because they were bored, i got over it and so you should. You can't win everytime and considering what you guys have been doing to cause dm fests all around, a molotov is nothing.
