No that is not forcing RP. Forcing RP is having RP go your own way, kinda. What the admin is doing should be endorsed and it's not something wrong. If you don't want to RP, quit the game.

While i agree with your statement that people must roleplay when approached i gotta admit those robberies are fucking boring. People show zero creativity when it comes to interacting with others, it's either a rob or a kill cuz "u rammed my car sir". I'm not surprised if someone refuses to accept such "roleplays" after years/months of seeing them. And nothing changed at all, it's just that you haven't been on for months and when you came back you saw different faces and stuff that falsely gave you the idea that mindset changed. They're the same old (and new) proud argonauts having fun with their guns, i stopped caring about it because you can't change this place anymore.

It's because those people that are being robbed keep doing the exact same thing over and over again. And since you can't blatantly DM them, you have to find some sort of a way, which is "robbing". Very few people actually change their character after being beaten to death and agree to change their ways in a RP manner. And they have mostly been new players.

False reporting is intentional trying to setup someone with a ban, who turns out didn't rulebreak, yet the reporter is furious because of the result of the roleplay.


I seriously hope people will get harshly punished for this even banned for it, as well as taking a piss in calling people and groups Dmers constantly on /p, which somehow became acceptable, which is nothing else then insulting and provoking.

Let me tell you what is causing every fucking problem here, literally every, all these threads are caused by one problem.

Everyone can do a simple roleplay, even these guys that you never expect to roleplay with you. The problem here is metagaming actually, it's causing everything. Imagine this, someone opens a group, he is bored and hangs out with Corleone, VIS member sees him and immediately spreads the word to all VIS members, and what has happened now? Well the guy became daily target to VIS, that guy is alone and he wants to drive around but he constantly get's killed.

But why do they do that to him? Is there a reason?

Yeah, there was probably some shit that happened between these two groups that went down and they're in war now. Corleone massively logged in, killed VIS guy and logged off, they did that to 15 other members so VIS goes furious and whenever they log in they /id corl and hunt the target, now Corleone gets even more furious and continues to hunt VIS whenever they're outnumbered.

Is anything done by admins yet? haha no fag

Now VIS catches Corleone guy that thinks Argonath is cool and not cancerous place, VIS is amazed he roleplayed but they are fucking happy, you know why? Because they are gonna catch him and /piss on him then post on forums, so they do that, Corleone gets mad and flames VIS on forums, so you get IC hate to spread to OOC.

Is anything done by admins yet? nope

But it's normal, every human would get triggered by all that bullshit both groups are doing.
Deathmatching intensifies, forum shitposting is at top level, this also happens to every group, not just these two, turns into great war at both fronts, in game and on forum. And guess what have you created? Cancer

I do agree on your post. The reason why I created this topic is not to put the blame on somebody so we can all point fingers at them, but with simple hope that someone will read it and actually try changing for the better. It all depends on us as players how it all works in the future.

Argonath is a server where metagaming and powergaming are not disallowed, yet people get banned for asking backup over /gm.

There's shitloads of examples such as this one, and shitloads of examples where that logic does not apply.

You guys seriously need to cut this shit off already, and make a decision about it, regardless on how you gonna call those terms.
