what i ment was that the Skin types.. are there in left and right or down and up... then left and right shall be more pesific skin like the old man/ old woman

Well as Gandalf said, the skin selection keys are a feature of SA:MP, so we cannot do anything to change it. Maybe it will be changed in 0.2, who knows. But if you want, you can post your suggestion to the SA:MP forums and maybe it'll be added to some future SA:MP version.

The default chat be /local, I mean when they are like 50 players on the server it's impossilb to read evrything. So, if you wanna write in public chat it should be like /public. It will be alot easier to read and I suggest that we could change the local chat colour it's hard to read. That's all what I can think of now!

It can be done, but not at the time. We are trying to show people RP and for that they need to see what is going on. If all play local, it looks too quiet.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

idea: Driving Practial + Theroy test

Players must do 2 parts of a test, one part being a set of questions that the system will ask that will cost something like $300. Second part being pratical with a player who roles as driving examinator, this part costs about $1000.

If player drives crappy and lazy, there license can be removed forcing them to do both parts of test again :)

How about some commands for gangs/mafia/triads?

At the moment, most players are drawn to the cops simply because they have some interesting commands (and are the only class that spawn with a gun, but that's not the point). Could it be possible to implement some interesting commands for the gangs? I have a few ideas, feel free to tear them apart  ;)

/contract
It's been done, i know, but it's a classic for a reason. Players place a contract on another player, which can be fulfilled by a member of a gang/mafia only. This not only gives the gangs something to do, but also gives them a source of revenue. N.B. there should be a minimum amount on the /contract, to prevent people flooding it with $1 hits.

/anonymouscall (or something similar)
This is a quirky idea i came up with, whether it would be possible, i don't know. It could be a way for gangs to contact players without showing their names in the call. This would allow them to lure players into a trap, and be a bit more RP.

/creategun
Also "borrowed" from another server. Creates a weapon for a small cost, allows you to hand it to a fellow gang-member or civillian. Available only to gang members, this allows them to run a low-level business (gun running/armsdealing).
E.g.
It costs $60 to create a colt .45, and so gang members can do the command to /creategun colt45 (id of buyer) for $100 or something.

Anyway, please post any ideas you have, i've just plundered these ideas shamelessly (except no. 2, the crap one ;) )
N.B. First proper post, so go easy on the criticism. :D

And arms dealeres would be an illegal alternative for cheaper guns.


- All players must have a gun license to purchase guns from a gun store. To get a gun license they must pass a test. This would up the sales for illegal gun dealers also. This script has been done in The Specialists Roleplay. ANd the /local default script has been done in the godfather roleplay.

To do tests n stuff we need more admins to test them. Currently only a  few do the licenses etc at weeekends and for many they miss their chance, due to an admin shortage.

We need more responsable admins.

I just got an idea, that would it be possible to create some script to transfer weapons & ammo between players? It would help especially if criminals or cops are working in a team. So if one of the team members run out of ammo, some friend could share his ammo with him.

Here are some of my suggestions:
1. Reputation points. Every time a player wins MOLE mission or arrests/kills a criminal, he will get a reputation point. Killing/arresting should give +1 rep and MOLE win +2 rep. So players collect these points, and the more points you have, the easier your life is. For example, at 0 rep u lose 500 if u go to jail, but at 10 rep, you would only lose about 300 or so. And the buy able house costs should also decrease, as you collect reputation, about 1000 per rep. This should affect everything a player does in Argonath, regarding money.

2. Some new work skills, which can be done actively all the time. Right now it's only wait 30 minutes for MOLE or be a cop, the driver jobs earn too small amounts. I was thinking about some skills, such as woodcutting, you get a knife, go near a tree and write /cut. Then you gather wood, which you can sell at 24/7. Different trees should require higher woodcut levels. Levels should increase as you cut trees, level 2 at 50 trees, lvl 3 at 120 and so on. Or you could also use the wood to craft some armor. For example you have gathered 5 logs, then you write /createarmor. It takes about 3 logs, and gives you about 30% armor, this shouldn't be higher because wood is weaker than body armor. Armor should be only increased from 0 to 30 with this, wood can't give over 30 armor, if you have 5 armor before you create wood armor, you only get 25 more. Oh yes, and higher quality wood should give more than 30, about 35-50. There should also be a possibility to create wooden short range weapons out of wood, such as baseball bats or walking cane.

3. Farmer skill. You go to any big farm locations (about 5 of them in countryside). There you can grow weed(which is illegal to grow) , potatoes, grain and so on. So basically you can cook all the non-illegal materials into food, which you carry with you, and eat it for some extra health. Farmers can also sell the drugs that they grow. This skill should also be increasable. When you grow a certain amount of materials, you get to level 2 farmer and so on.

4. Cops having more commands, such as /handcuff , which in admin terms ''freezes'' the player in a cop vehicle, so he cant exit it, and escape. Other command should be /GU 'id' , when u write it, it tells that player loudly GIVE UP. there should be more of this kind(/sur 'id')
Cops should get busting/killing money according to the length of being a criminal for the chased person. For example, if a person has been a suspect for 3 minutes, and is caught , cops get 500 for killing, but if he has been escaping for 6 minute and gets killed then, the cop gets 1000. So the harder-to-catch criminals are worth chasing for the higher amounts of cash.

5. Creating own derbies and races, a player writes /createderby '1-5'. The numbers indicate, which location he chooses for derby. Same thing with the race /createrace. But to prevent everyone from creating races/derbies all the time, the winners money should come from everyone who enters the competition. For example , the entrance fee is $200, every player who comes, has to pay this to get in. And if 6 people come, the winner gets $1200, but if 9 players come, the winner gets $1800 and so on. The 2nd and 3rd don't get anything.

6. Some character skins, such as triads, or russian mafia, should be available only to players, who have joined them before, for example after you register ,you choose the group, that you want to join, and after you choose it, you will be in in forever, and you can't change it. Or even better, admins become leaders of these groups, and they can recruit people for their group. The mob families and triads should be removed from skin choosing list. This would enable a more organized rolaplay, gang vs gang style, players are in groups, not randomly alone in the street as a triad.

7. Mining skill. This can be done only in quarry, player goes to a specific location in quarry, and writes /mine, every time he writes it, he gets 1 material, but sometimes it may fail, saying 'you only found some bones' or something. Again, a increasable skill, which at higher levels, earns more money. You get iron, copper, tin and coal from the quarry. They can be either sold to 24/7 for a low price or made into melee weapons, which can't be bought in shop(katana, knife, chainsaw, shovel and so on, these can only be sold to players.

8. Triathlon added to MOLE missions (run, bike, swim) . You go to beach of LS, players all get there, then you swim towards chiliad, run through the forest more towards chiliad, near chili you get on a bike, and ride it on top of the mountain. The first 3 players up get $$$.

9. Player bleeding. If a player gets shot 1 or more times, his health starts decreasing, until he heals it completely full in cluckin' bell or some other healing location. This health loss should be about 2 health per 10 seconds. And if a player dies as a cause of bleeding, the player who made him bleed, will take responsibility for that kill(a cop gets reward, or a civilian becomes a suspect).

10. Listening to normal on-car radio stations. You go to a 24/7 and write /buy mp3player . Then you use /next, /previous and /turnoff or /turnon to play different radio stations, while walking around. When you enter a car, this music will stop, and normal car music will start.

11. Photographer player class, you get a photo camera, and try to picture criminals with it for a newspaper, every criminal caught on the photo gets you $300. This skill should not be increasable, it's just for earning fast money. Every criminal can only be pictured once, only first pic gives money.
