In real life police dont shout pull over to speeders. Speeders see the flashing lights and pull over. In 0.2 hopefully piolice sirens will be synced so you wont need to stop and yell pull over. And yes we need real jobs such as cashiers or something.

Being FBI and spawning in San Fierro it often gets boring because noone goes there.

  • To improve the population in other citys you should open up the max amount of players (Once you get enough admins) because today was the first day that I found Argonath full (At least the first time I saw it full)
  • There should also be more to offer in San Fierro and LV AND Countryside such as for the country side, houses should be the cheapest there. Also, FBIs don't get enough ammo in their uzi and because it doesnt do much damage and isnt accurate they loose ammo quickly.

A casino is another way of saying "Hobo Factory"

Yes i also think its getting too boring just having the game in LS, i think more should be to offer in other cities.
I also hope that by V2 Argonath will have some interesting cars to buy, Like The boxvan, fishvan, Burrito, you know "cool" Cars

  Im in favour of bringing more people to Las Venturas and San Fierro!

Ps. I have an idea. I want to buy a GAS STATION, however there should be a limit of how much fuel it can hold, and when it is reaching low, I could order it to be refuelled by a tanker (this is where trucking comes into it). However the fuel should be cheaper, or the pay should go to the driver to make the gas station profit effectivly.

If you develop other cities, then the 50 player slots will not be enough, there are about 16 people in 1 city then, and you rarely see someone.

The player limit should be raised as the server becomes more popular, 80 would be enough right now. Many other role play servers have added more player slots, when the popularity grows, and that would be a smart thing to do (sometimes it takes 5 minutes to connect, because server is full).

If thinking about 3 cities, there should also be buy able businesses and houses in other cities, so people actually go there, because they need to.

Maybe creating a script, which spawns 1/3 of joined players in LV, whatever class they choose, 1/3 in SF, and 1/3 in LS. They spawn there, maybe find a criminal or something, and it develops.

Right now there's just nothing to do in SF and LV, if i spawn there, i just find a car or plane and take the shortest road to LS, because SF is empty of players, houses, and job locations etc.

The player limit right now is set because we are building the admin team. Once we are confident in having enough good admins online at all times, we can raise the limit. Other things we are working on ;)

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

Some ideas for new version of SA MP, the 0.2:

1. New job connected with the police force: CSI(Crime Scene Investigator). These are female and male characters in black uniforms, who investigate homicides, when they occur in the server.
  The killing of non cop player *shot* Any person, the one who killed, should not be seen to anyone in the kills list, and he doesn't get the wanted level right after he kills (the orange color). This should look like this: Unknown *shot* Irw_Patrone.
  The CSI's job is to find out who that person was, and after that make him a suspect for the cops to arrest or kill. He must buy a kit from the Police station for about 10k, before he can start working.
  He has a lot of tools to find out who the killer was: DNA tests, using command '/get DNA victim' and '/look DNA Suspect'. The suspect's DNA should only be available, when he was closer than 10 feet of the person who died(slicing victim with knife or any other hitting object and short-range shooting with guns. There should also be bullet casings near the place, from where the killer shot. The CSI will use the command '/investigate casings' and he will find out which type of gun was used.
  Next he will question any witnesses, if they saw something or not(there's a point for that, coming later in this text). After recognizing the gun type, he will write command '/firearms AK47' for example, this will narrow down the list of suspects by showing, who is carrying a AK47 with him. Then he will use the LSPD database in the PD headquarters, to find out ,whose DNA he found at the crime scene The database should only contain the DNAs which this CSI has collected before, if he doesn't find a match in database, he will take sample from all the players who used AK47, if someone is afraid to give his DNA, he will become one of the prime suspects. If the suspect weapon and the DNA match, CSI will use command '/suspect Irw_Patrone homicide'. He will only have one chance to suspect a person, and if he did his job badly, and he suspects the wrong person(the script knows who really did it and if the 2 names don't match then he will lose the possibility to catch the criminal), all his evidence will be lost, and the criminal will get away, without ever being suspected for that crime. This helps against CSI workers, who randomly try a name, to gain money fast. Suspecting a wrong person won't actually make him a suspect, it will only tell the CSI that this was the wrong person, and he will also lose 1k money for every case, in which he suspected the wrong person. Oh yes, and if a witness saw, who killed the victim, he will tell the right or wrong name to the CSI, who can make that player a suspect immediately, of course, if the witness was talking the truth.
 
   This could maybe be developed to even advanced CSI work, paying attention to every small detail. The crime scene should be available during the next 10 minutes after the crime. Every criminal a CSI suspects, and who really was the criminal, will get the CSI 3-6k of money, depending on the wanted level of the criminal and so on.

  The CSI could work, however the suspect process shouldnt be that long- because by the time the suspect is suspected, he could have killed many people and flew across the map, up the mountain, out to sea (see what im getting to here). With a process that takes so long it would create more confusion and issues for the cops.

The work isn't very long,
1.Announcement of murder
2.Driving to crime scene(1-2 minutes)
3.Questioning witnesses, processing the scene(1-3 minutes)
4.Back to PD with evidence(1-2 minutes)
5.Searching data base for match, suspecting a person.

well, fast person or a easy crime would take 3-6 minutes, depends on the CSI's skills and knowledge of commands
or maximum of 10 minutes top, the main thing is that the criminal is still in the server, even if he has killed more players, thats up to other CSI's to investigate, and increase his jail time after they finish their work. The CSI still gets his cash for solving the case, and the rest which the criminal does, is not connected to the same CSI, he only cares about his money. Later the criminal is a ordinary suspect of the cops to catch

Maybe also a command /CSI statistics ,which shows:
Cases solved: 7
Cases Unsolved: 1
DNA samples collected to data base: 10
Suspecting wrong person: 1
Suspect getting killed in chase: 5
Suspect sent to jail: 2
Total money earned during career: $52309
Killed during investigation: -

The jail time for a murder should also be increased, iff u get caught for murder, either u get killed or busted, u still go to jail. The jail time should be increased to 8 minutes for one murder, so players wouldn't DM so often, as they do right now, and 2-4 minutes for hooligans(hitting cars, carjacking, attacking(not killing), insulting cops etc.

And most of the cases can be solved very fast, because there are witnesses near every place, where people usually kill (grove street, azteca spawn or LSPD) The witness gets some bribe from the CSI to tell the info CSI needs

  In 3 minutes i can drive a limo (not very fast vehicle) from NE LasVenturas to SW SanFierro, or better still, get a plane from the nearest airport and fly to the top of chiliad, and if i did commit a crime, the cops wouldnt know until after the 3 mins (presumably this doesnt include time taken for police contact and time to arrive at scene). It just gives too much advantage to the crimminal!

  Also, 2-4minutes in jail for hitting  a car? A bit harsh maybe, but these time periods in jail may take the fun out of the game, as evern though it may result in fewer dmers, more people will abuse the commands, and this may encourage even more dmers ruining the game!!!
 
  I like the idea of the bribe for info also, but this could backfire and be a waste of time! Whats stopping the guy from lying and suspecting an innocent?- although it might work if in complience with the dna thing. Also where do the bribes come from- the government? xD

  There are a few faults to the police system, but im not sure if this may solve any of them? A very good idea, however for a game its pretty deep.
  Maybe they could have a use though, for eg if they are a small group of trained and proven players (like admins or something)- they could be used to suspect rogue or corrupt cops, and alert the others. What do you think?

Hi! My first post and i just started playing Argonath RPG. I love your server. It has very much choices. But i would like these:

Car dealer
- Take cars to the dock and get money //About 15K//. Only high-rated cars would be avalibe to export (whatever its called)
Can buy many properties - like McDonalds or BurgerBell and other buildings (Maybe you can do it, because i have no passport - got to wait until Saturday - so i cant yet)
Gangs - i heard this coming soon, but it would be great. Like peeps could join clan, have clan trips n other activities, that gangs usually have

For selling car there is a mission - GTA... Randome car, randome dealer...
For gangs we are looking the best POINT of use... Cos just "We have this hood" for me is a lame roleplaying...
All business shops will be buyable on SAMP 0.2 server...
To give possibility to the new arriving citizens , others can buy one car, one house, one shop...

If we had like a toll booth where, someone buys a bridge (say Gant bridge), and someone wants to cross, it would say on screen -

Gant bridge
Owner - =AV=Gr4nt
Fee - $100

They would then type " /pay " or somthing , then they would be allowed to cross. If however they crossed without paying , they would be teleported to the start of the bridge again (Like the Casinos)
