mole missions is rarly and cops can only make money... is that cool?? its that RPG?... well noone need medic.. we need mechanic ... aand i guess... somekinda.. gang criminal guy :)

  Mechanic= person gives you car, you take it to pay and spray, give car back, get paid.  However it would be quicker and cheaper to go yourself.

mechanic - What is the point of this job???

detective - There is Police site - use it for developing detective job... As far as i understood, Godfather server uses the scripted detective job... If it is so - it sucks... Detective is detective, should go, investigate, interview people, make reports, ask for a warrant from the Courts...

Cop - Isn't that already a team?
Fbi - the same
medic - the same

So what then you want more???
From all your list only car dealer can be discussed actually...
And what is doing cardealer on godfather server???

Car jacking is NOT allowed... As it is annoying especcially for people, who give you a ride...

About plane interior - that was already discussed to make an airline...
I am pretty sure it will not be successfull business, but it is up to you of an idea to make it successful...

My idea: assassination mission
- one cop becomes a VIP (because the majority of players are cops)
- the VIP must get to a extraction point (airport, docks or something like that)
- the players must
     a. assassinate the VIP, or
     b. kidnap him and take him to a hideout
- other cops must escort the VIP to the point..
- if possible:
     a. the VIP should be only passenger in vehicles
     b. weapons taken away, but gets full armor

for kidnapping, the reward should be around 12000$
for assassinating, the reward should be around 5000$

What do you think? ;)

There already is server where is two teams and one Prime Minister. One of teams is guarding PM, and other team is trying to kill him ...
Its pretty cool ,,,
But, how does the VIP choose will happen ... ???
And if no one wants to guard him, it's an easy money ...

But i like this ide that would be cool ... :)

It sounds like a team Deathmatch, however you can do this anyway;

  Find someone who is very good roleplayer, and not a cop. (admins are good for this)....  You need a 4 seat car and two accomplishes , with a gun of sum sort (shotgun works well). Tell the mark to get in, or he will die. If they are good RPers they will play along. Drive to the desert and put out adverts:
 "for the release of XXX pay XXX or we will kill them."
  This never usually works, cuz no one can be bothered, so take it out on the captive. Drive to the local bank and order for sum cash (not too much, or they wont pay) about $1000 or something for their release.

  Like i said, this only really works with good rpers, but this is not to mean go round kidnapping all the admins  :lol:...


   I dont really like the idea of loads of 'missions' being scripted, cuz it sort of contradicts the point of multiplayer rpg (however i think the streetrace is the best molemission). Its best to roleplay a lot of things, and assassination mission is an oppertunity for everyone to kill everyone, because if you kidnap a cop and he makes you wanted, you cant kill him (lose $1k) he can kill you, because he then gets money, so the kidnappers only lose out- which makes it pointless.
   Not very realistic if it suddenly pops up " you are a vip, watch out your about to get dmed so sum dmers get loads of money" (or if your a criminal) "Quick lets own this cop n get loads of money, quick kill all the others so they dont kill him first!"     :wow:

  I dont see how it will work efficiently.

This idea is BRILLIANT , but again it's easy money ... !!!
Everyone just will start kidnapping each other , and getting money for that ...
And if someone kidnaps new player, Who will pay for him ... ???

 I suppose this could work as  a Mole Mission, if an admin nominated themselves as a VIP (or it wont work), and if the police has done a good job protecting them from A to B (police station transfer or something), then the admin could pay out to those who worked hard. If it goes the other way, and the VIP is killed (the killer gets sum cash) however if taken hostage or held in captivity, the VIP should pay more for their release than how much the would get if killed.

Why even there should be a script choosing a cop (why cop?) as VIP and he MUST go there and here, just cos script said it???

Where is freaking freedom for roleplay???
Guys forget about single player missions...
It is already annoying...

Take this go there type that go to this point...

We made 4 missions - ENOUGH...

All other use up to your imagination and freedome...

One thing we'll add to the 0.2 version - hitman order... When you order a hitman (special guy) for the citizen (special ID which you want to eliminate)... Hitman died - order finished, hitman killed target - he gets money...

No any "now you must go to the docks"... Or anything else like that...
Pure bounty on one head and specified hitman... And only to prevent non-stop chasing to kill anyway...
Only for getting order fully finished (money/funerals) will be hitman script...

Kidnapping is not scripted mission ...
Its just for fun, like in real life , when someone gets kidnapped if somebothy wants to save him he pay for it ...
Plus cops would have more job ...

I think that there should be some script which stops people going on limo/taxi/bus duty in other people's cars. E.g. if a player goes into my limo and types '/limo 100', a message should come up saying "this vehicle belongs to [ALS]dan_lcfc, you cannot go on duty in this vehicle.". I am only saying this because on several occasions I have signed in, drove up to my limo and it is not there. Not only this I find out that someone else is on duty in my limo! :cry: I am not saying that people should not be able to drive vehicles owned by other people, I'm saying that people shouldn't be able to go on duty in them. I am sure other limo/taxi/bus owners will agree with me

But what should server do if none of your firm drivers are on duty???
So, all ALS is sleeping in their beds, and others cannot use limos just cos of it???

Some more stupid ideas (as far as RON is concerned)

1. Public safehouses: These are buildings, which can't be entered by cops. If a player enters it, he loses wanted level and can't be /su'd again in the next minute. He also can pick up health inside, and about 34 bullets of 9mm, thats 2 clips. Maybe this could be a player owned business, but the entrance fee should be over 1k, so if a player needs to get rid of wanted level fast (for accepting MOLE), he can go in there, but he pays more, than he would on jailing or getting killed. These should be some large concrete buildings, to look like something, that the cops can't enter (a small wooden house would be fucked up in a few minutes by police fire).

2. The LS Electricity Company: This is located near the LS small Ammunation, east of it, over the riverbed. So if you don't pay the company every day that your online, the next day, they switch off all your houseupgrades. This should be a player owned business, you pay entrance fee as the electric bill to the company. Linked to this should be the cellphone battery, you have to recharge your cellphone every 2nd playing hour, inside your house, or inside a room you're renting. So if you don't pay the bill, you can't recharge your phone, losing the ability to call to players and SMS to them. /pm should be lost in 0.2 at all.

3. Hospital business (player owned):
: There are 3 hospitals in Argonath, one in each city. When a player enters a hospital, he can get health pickups inside and buy a First Aid Kit. This is a package, which you can carry with you and when you need health, you write /usekit and your health bar goes to full. The kits should cost around $100, and can only be bought inside a hospital with /buy kit. Hospitals should also offer anti venoms to diseases(will be explained later).

4. Players without licenses can't drive any car that they find at the streets, they spawn at the rentyard, choose a car there, and get a temporary license after they rent it. Again a player owned business, all the money collected from rents goes to owner.

5. Gun warehouse(explained earlier in this topic. Tell what u think).

6.Graveyard business. This is a business in LS ,the graveyard. Basically, if a player is killed by another player, the graveyard owner earns $100 from every murder.

7. All the car buying locations
from 0.1 turned into player owned businesses. The owner gets 1/4 of the original price of every car that is bought in his place, and 1/8 of every car which is sold there. The person who buys cars should only get 50% of its original price, when selling a car, to avoid money hacking(one player sells and buys  car many times, owner becomes rich). For example, a player buys a car for 40k, but when he sells it, he only gets 20k. This business should also buy stolen cars(any car in Argonath, which is not owned by the player) for 1/80 of its original buying price. Cars should also become cheaper after they are bought, sold and used multiple times.

8. Hotel business: One business hotel in each city: Rock Hotel in LV, the red motel in LS, and something in SF. This can be rented by players, who don't own a house, they pay rent to the owner, just like with a real house.

9. The fishing business: This is the ''Fish Bait'' building in the desert, it has a fishing platform near it. When a player enters, he can use command '/learn fishing'. The fishing skill should have 20 levels, which increase, when a certain amount of fishes is caught (50 for level 2, 130 total for level 3 and so on). The player also has to buy bait inside the building, each time he fishes at the fishing bridge, he loses 1 bait for every fish he catches. A player can carry a maximum of 100kg of fishes on him, then he has to go inside building and sell them. The money he gets ,depends on the type of the fish and it's weight. There are 15 types of fishes, 1 is the cheapest, and 15 is the most valuable. The selling money is calculated like this: Fish weight/Fish type, for example, if i catch the lowest level fish and it weighs 30kg, i get 1x30=30 dollars, but if i catch a type 10 fish, and it weighs 40kg, i get 40x10=400 dollars. The fishing place entrance fee should be limited to a maximum of $50 due to a lot of people entering it often. The bait should cost around $10 a piece. The maximum fish weight is 50kg. But getting a fish this large should be very rare, mostly around 10kg fishes, and mostly type 1-10, as the level increases, so does the amount of high level fishes caught.

10. Thief skill, can be learned in a business north of desert airfield, in that small cottage near the sea. This should also have 20 levels. A player goes near another player and writes /steal money or /steal keys or any other item that he might carry. A thief can't steal when a cop is close to the other player(as close as you need to be to send money), the command doesn't work. So rich players can hire cops to stay with them to avoid losing their items or money. The skill allows to steal 2% of the total money that the player is carrying, level 2 allows to steal 4% and so on. If a player sees that someone is taking his cash, he can /call police, which makes the thief instantly a suspect, but he can continue stealing. Th skill should increase depending on the total money stolen. If you reach 5k, you get level 2, if 12k, level 3 and so on. Players should also be able to enter unlocked houses, and steal furniture inside, selling it to the drop off place later.

11. Stealth skill: This is a 13 level skill. It is increased according to the playing hours in server. If you play 2 hours, the game tells you 'ability to buy stealth level, write /accept if you agree' If you agree, it takes about 5k from you to go to level 2, 10k to go to level 3 and so on, with 5k intervals. If you decline a level up opportunity, you have to wait another 2 hours before next chance comes.
levels 1-4: The dot on the map becomes more invisible with every level, on level 4 it's barely seen on the map, you can see through it at level 4 and the color of it is barely visible.
levels 5-8: The same thing happens to the name, which is above a players head, it becomes barely visible at level 8.
levels 9-12: Locating a player with /loc will become more inaccurate. At level 9 it tells in which part of which city the player is, at level 10 it only tells the city, at 11 only the location in SA(east Argonath, South-west Argonath) and at level 12 it only tells that the player is in Argonath. Buying these levels should be very expensive, to avoid every player from being completely hidden. buying level 13 should cost nearly 200k, level 12 100k, and then it decreases in 5k intervals.
level 13: the name tag from above head is completely removed, you can only see who it is if he says something, then the writing appears above his head with his name.

12. Getting diseases from players, if someone hits you with his knife, you may get, or from a whore, or a fist fight. You can also get a disease at the countryside, maybe scorpion, rattle snake in desert areas outside cities, brown snake and black spider at grass areas outside cities. So if you walk on foot in these areas for more than 30 seconds, you get a poison inside you. A player can carry anti venom with him, to cure him and make walking in that area possible for the next 5 minutes. Each animal should require it's specific anti venom to cure. They can all be bought from hospital, and one of each type can be carried at a time.

No sorry, you are both wrong (and right). Dan I have updated it since you may have last looked.
  We allow use of our limos freely when we are offline, only when we are online do we incur a small fee ($1000 for the day is hardly a fortune!)
  Maybe a smaller amount should be charged to the driver as soon as they get in, and go to the owners bank. (not much though, probably just whatever the most you can charge?) I would think that fair for money earning cars  such as limos, taxis and buses)

 I think some of these are quite good, however do give players access to easy money (stealing), oppertunity to dmers (safe houses), and we dont want it to realistic, do we? (electricity)- maybe this could take a small amount from the house cash boxes every week (dont think players will like it very much).

I like the hotel idea, allowing many people to rent lots of rooms in one building. Dunno if most of the ideas are possible, but i like free roam do anything kind of play.
