Players Ideas (wish list)

1. Public safehouses

Where did you see in real life such safehouses, that you lose your wanted level? I know only two: Courts and prison... Oh yeah, and morgue as well...
And where did you see in real life buildings that cops (any of them) cannot reach???

Does that mean we go to organize anarchy server???

2. The LS Electricity Company

The practice showed already - noone can pay everyday... As they cannot be online everyday...
But Electricity Company will be... And only for those who have houses and business properties...
This company will be ONLY government company...

3. Hospital business (player owned)

To make enterable hospital u need minimum hospital interior... SA (as SA:MP) has NO such interior...

4. Players without licenses can't drive any car that they find at the streets, they spawn at the rentyard, choose a car there, and get a temporary license after they rent it. Again a player owned business, all the money collected from rents goes to owner.

So as soon as new player comes, he starts lose money... On weapons, health, fuel and now even on driving... Sorry for sarcasm, maybe they should pay already cos just connected to server???

Guns, health, fuel we can accept they should buy... But what server will be, if people cannot drive, should have temporary licenses (go work scripters, you have no work at all) and start waste money??? While they will understand the idea of server they will lose already all amount... What does that mean??? Hello money cheaters...

5. Gun warehouse

Use ammunations... A lot of it in every city...

6. Graveyard business

Why only Los Santos graveyard??? There are a lot...
Also, players die - why should a guy, who actually does NOT work get money from the general script, used for all???

7. All the car buying locations

The same... The owner will just sit, do not move his ass and use the general script of buying cars... Why???
Unfair business on server will be...

8. Hotel business

Buy a hotel, set a rent... Simple...

9. The fishing business

Where did u see in real life guy goes fishing and gets money from fishing??? he must minimum to sell fish - means find the partners who will buy his fish...

10. No any levels will be integrated... If you wanna to show you are highly experienced - prove it with your real skills without scripts...

I like this game the way it Is. I think The Argonath Devs/Admins have done a good job making this server and in my own opinon i find it the best it can be.  :cool:

You didn't quite understand the gun warehouse thing, did you? It's just like a bank, but you go inside /deposit Tec9 100, and it deposits your bullets, you cant lose them when you die or leave server.

I don't think this can be done in a normal ammunation, can it?

Have you actually used any of the player ideas? It seems to me, that it all looks like bullshit to you, absolutely every idea gets criticized to the ground.

I think, a great thing to do would be, for the cars that are owned. If you get in and you arent the owner, like in SP the lights and horn should flash/sound. And if you drive near the police while the horn and lights are still flashing, they can suspect you. BUT there should be NO automatic /su, its up to the cops if they see you in the car. Because lets be honest in real life... How often do you walk up to  a random car, take it, without the alarm going off?

That idea was discussed long time ago, when we only started testing...
All missions will be working in different cities so people could move from LS...

nd of, although a thief wont put the car alarm on after he stole the car :P. Or maybe a command like /cancelalarm which after 10 seconds will cut the car alarm off. during the time he can write /me cuts the car alarm cables. Ect

For taxis, buses and limos i think there should be a small fee on entering the vehicle (if they are owned by someone), because at the end of the day it is a business  :cool:

The caralarm is an interesting idea, unfortunately car lights are not scripted. A sound ? May be....

Regarding any ideas that make money, we have seen from the casino's that people will abuse and cry. Also example is lottery from MTA, we had to change it as people were busy abusing all day.
We do not want to blast ideas, but we look at them from the perspective of admins and owners.
So with every idea we ask:
- Is it possible to make ?
- Will it cause stress or lagg of server ?
- Is it fair for both new and old players ?
- Can it be abused ?
- Is it fair for all skins/groups ?

Only if it meets all criteria we will work on scripting the idea.

From john's idea of car alarm this is how it will work
- Is it possible to make - yes, on the san andreas singleplayer their is a hidden alarm noise which goes off if you steal a police car, this can be used in conjunction to the idea. Plus you could use a script that alerts the nearest cop that an alarm is going off this is the same as the shout command.
- Will it cause stress or lagg of server - making a noise happen isn't extacly the same as 50 people robbing owner's car's
- Is it fair for both new and old players - yes of course this will teach new players that if they use  other player's cars they will be setting an alarm off and they will understand that it is owned and old player's will know not to use it unless they own it or they have payed to use it or have owner's permission
- Can it be abused - No due tot he fact if police are alerted near the person the police ould check to see if they were abusing and that could mean to another suspect case
- Is it fair for all skins/groups - yes they will learn to rpg properly and get more use of the public transport system
