I dunno how compatable the idea is with scripting or the theme of roleplay, but, it seems to me that the idea would be relatively easy to integrate (maybe even easier with 0.2). Anyway, what about a Capture-the-flag type game? Maybe use one of the ballfields as an arena, and place the red circles. Have two teams go against eachother, if you make it to the other's red circle, you "Capture" their flag. Have non leathal weapons (like maybe nite stick, or fists), and if the oppisite team "tags" you with the weapon, you drop the flag, and are immobilized. Did anybody else play this game in school? It was mad fan... if you guys are interested, I can provide more details. Lemme know what you guys think!

Well in Real Life we have sports etc, why then the hell no in RP? I think it'd bring a lot more entertainment then there currently is (as of now there is....none?), and it would be better then waiting for mole ;)

Ty for the backup Kerr, and yes, that's exactly what I was talking about, was sports :P

Sorry, I suppose it could be a good sport, however 2 teams on battlefield to reach each other flag does kind of sound like gang war ;) ...

I like playing football with cardboard box at grove street xD

I suppose you could roleplay it between teams- first to get to "the mark/ (flag)" and bring them back alive wins or something.

Ps. As you can tell i have never played capture flag at school  :)

No. I was talking about a person being a flag, for each team to capture and not some horrific corona (in my opinion)...

And yes, stop being an ASS!  D)

Something changed and I missed it. Apparently now, crouching with no weapons is surrendering? If I'm a cop and chasing someone, and I shout Surrender!, and they don't, suddenly they run back and crouch, my first instinct is that they are making a smaller target for me to shoot at, and increasing their defence....which is usually just before shooting! Now I got yelled at for shooting the suspect, because he "surrendered" with this method. I say we have ONE universal way of surrendering. Some people suggest "/surr", others say don't wait till last second. Most criminals are given plenty of time to surrender, yet they refuse until the only other option is imminant death. We need criminals to surrender, because without it, it's just DMing. But suspects get mad when they get shot after being asked to surrender multiple times, then shooting out with police, and mid-fire shouting surrender. I don't think that's very fair.

Long post short: Lets keep ONE universal method of surrendering, like "I surrender!" or "/surr". Or even go as far as after being asked to surrender X times, you're fair game.

Just a thought.

The first thing to if u surrender is crouch and holster weapons before typing surrender as it is quicker. If the suspect is surrounded and obviously has weapons but is not using them, then he is surrendered.
You killed me in front of otheres such as Lloyd etc after we pulled a kidnapping. I killed 2 cops as defence for gang, and they came back so i surrendered. Of course if they run then surrender then you should kill them, but in my case i didnt run from anyone and gave up when i should have. You are just trying to excuse yourself from killing me when u had the chance so u get $$$. No other officers shot, so its either all of them in the wrong or juct you!

Ps. You never asked me to surrender. I had little life left from a car crash and you thought "easy money".

I think everyone knows that if a criminal surrenders they "put their hands on the floor" and then say surrender. But yes if they do surrender after a 30min killing spree then u can kill I suppose.

Surrender command [tested]

If a wanted-player types /surr, his weapons will be gone and his health will set to 75%. Everybody will get a text: [name] surrendered. Now here's the question. Why should the wanted players use this? They can type in the "I surrender" too. Yeh, it's true. But if someone surrendered, everybody will get a Gametext, like what I will post it. So the cops can't say "Ohh I didn't see your message, sorry". It's visible.

Well I think it would be usefuller that it immediantly unsuspects the person and set their health to 50% instead of 75% and they lost their weapons though ofcourse

I said the 75% because if he typed the command in a middle of a fight and an officer shoots him, he won't die so fast. And for the surrendered players cops will get more money, but if he surrendered and they killed him, they  will lose more money too.

The whole of idea of surrendering in RP? However when playing the idea of surrender is the option also of keeping the weapons you have paid for, and also be RP. If you make the suspect thing a rule and too strict, people will take 1 of 2 alternatives. 1 being shoot or be shot. 2 the more annoying being suicide.

Remember the criminal loses more if jailed than dead, and even less if suicide- so usually only surrender if they have something eg weapons to lose. If they have nothing to lose, then they will dm more and suicide more.

Yh I like the surrender command, but it isnt very RP.
