LIBERTY STATE AGAINST ANTO CAPOBASTONE

SECTION I. SUMMARY
The Liberty City Police Department has started collecting evidence against several offenders since November, 2016. Therefor we will begin to sue several offenders who have been behaving extremely badly and those who are ignoring the traffic laws.


SECTION II. ACTS VIOLATED
All acts below are stated in the Laws of Liberty City.

Act 93
Any driver shall abide speed limits of 80 km/h on single-lane road and 120 km/h on the highway.

Act 94
Right side - Driving on the right side of the road is mandatory.

Act 95
Forward Driving - It is mandatory to drive a vehicle forward on the public road and illegal to do any reverse movement on the highway.

Act 96
Traffic lights - Citizens are expected to slow down at interesections and stop if they face a red light and traffic is coming from other direction. In case of absence of traffic in other directions, a citizen is not forced to stop at a red light.

Act 99
U-Turns - U turns are permitted as long as they are executed in a safe way

Act 101
Overtaking - Overtaking on a regular road is permitted as long as it do respect the speed limits, does not represent a risk to others and is not done in a successive way with several other overtaking by the same driver.

Charge #1:

Endangerment of civilians throughout Liberty City.

Demand #1:
Fine of $10.000 Argonath Dollars.

Demand #2:
Temporary License Revoke for an X amount of time, to be charged by the judge.

Demand #3:
A 15 days personal vehicle impound.

The LCPD would like to confirm that the defendant has been caught racing today once again. Our dashcams have captured three cars racing, and NOOSE Tactical Response Unit decided to chase them. We managed to pull one racer over and investigate this matter.

Greetings,
I would like to apologize for this "late" reply as well as i wasnt contacted by anyone about this cause against me before today.
Theres a lot to talk about this but i wont write all in 1 letter because it will come out messy and difficould to orientate in, however ill just resume that i accept my guiltiness , but only in part of the violations handed over me.
Below you will find the violations i disagree with LCPD i have ever done ,

"Act 96
Traffic lights - Citizens are expected to slow down at interesections and stop if they face a red light and traffic is coming from other direction. In case of absence of traffic in other directions, a citizen is not forced to stop at a red light."
"Act 99
U-Turns - U turns are permitted as long as they are executed in a safe way"
"Act 95

They are violations that i disagree, there are no proofs i have ever been doing them.
instead about the overspeeding and, sometimes Dangerous, overtakes i agree.
I count there are many ohther way worse drivers that should be judged before me first , also because it seems that the law persecutes the man who respoects them more than Others, instead the criminals and worst drivers that are a danger for all safety will stay free from any law action forever.

Honorable Judge & Mr. Capobastone,

As seen on Exhibit #3b, a U-turn can be seen with relation to Exhibit #3a. The LCPD is willing to revoke the violations on Act 96 and 95 of the old laws.

The LCPD will also respond to the following quote by the defendant:

Racing on public roads are always in relation with dangerous overtakes, why would you even race then?


Furthermore, we would also like to respond to the following:

I count there are many ohther way worse drivers that should be judged before me first , also because it seems that the law persecutes the man who respoects them more than Others, instead the criminals and worst drivers that are a danger for all safety will stay free from any law action forever.

The defendant has been caught multiple times violating these acts, in only two or three days. We have never seen such big violations in such a short period of time. Therefor we proceeded to sueing the defendant because the LCPD wants to stop these multiple racers.

If you require some froofs let me know what type of them , ill show im not guilty in all of the violations handed over me.

If the defendant has enough proofs to convince the judge and the LCPD to show that he is mature enough to drive a car correctly and according to the laws, the LCPD is willing to lower the amount of license revoke, fine and vehicle impound to a to be discussed, lower amount.

Honorable judge,

There is no proof that i have been doing Dangerous multiple U-Turns , as LCPD claims , "the attached pictures work as proofs for the U-turns" they claim i have done but if you look at all of them you can easily see there is no trace i have been doing a such action.

Racing on public roads are always in relation with dangerous overtakes, why would you even race then?

no Dangerous overtakes have been done , its agreable even if confronting any of your proofs against me.

The defendant has been caught multiple times violating these acts, in only two or three days. We have never seen such big violations in such a short period of time.

I evaluate this as pure fantasy , in my favour to disagree with this i'll say that: 1st, there are no proofs about this danger you have described , 2nd, anyone can make a such statement on his purpose during a situation when there is a criminal trial against me.

As its a criminal trial against me , I'll  kindly try to show to LCPD that all of these were declarations that were agains me are a part of far past, im open to any cooperation to prove this, waiting for an idea from your side. mine was to place a tracker on my vehicle that can monitorate speed or choose a patroling LCPD unit to follow me and prove that i am a regular driver.

SUBJECT: RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT

Honorable Judge & Mr. Capobastone,

Such tracker, we believe, will not work because the defendant can be driving according to the law with this sue in his back head. We were more waiting for proofs to show that you have been driving according the law, such as dashcam videos or cameras that are placed in the city.

Furthermore, what is the point of street racing if there are no overtakes done? Why would someone even contribute in a race without the ability to overtake? Overtaking in any race can be seen as dangerous, unless it is a drag race; drag races are only done at roads or areas that have no traffic on it to avoid collision.

We have caught you racing multiple times and stating that there are no proofs about the danger that we have described, is nonsense. We have caught you racing 3 times in less than two days, making it a high probability that you lack to follow the laws of the State of Liberty.

This case has been judged by a jury of 5 members.

The verdict is as follows:

According to the jury act 93, 94 and 101 are proven. That means the following are granted.

1. Anto Capobastone has to pay a fine of 7000$ to the LCPD. If this is not done within 14 days, this fine will be doubled (14000$) and will be deducted automaticly.
2. His Sultan RS will be impounded for 7 days. If he does not own a Sultan RS, any other random owned car of him will be impounded.
3. License will be removed for atleast 7 days, after 7 days he may re-take a license test.
