The weight of his suitcases were completely ignored when the 30 years old Martino Gonzales saw the face of the tropical paradise. He took a cab with only a few dollars in his pocket from the Boatyard to a friend's house in Starfish Island. The cab driver was not happy that he did not have enough money. Angered after explaining numerous times to the cab driver who was threatening to beat him up, Martino "topped" the taxi driver, leaving him lying on the driver seat. He called his friend Diaz Wonsz out and they both disposed the body. He took the cab and repainted it.

Two months had passed after the murder of the taxi driver. Martino now has a decent sum of money after working, but he wanted faster means. He reached out with the dealers in the Viceport crane and decided to deliver them cars every day for some cash. Not content with a single "contract", he went to meet the fish market dealers and brought them fresh Ogra fins when in need.

After a year or so, he finally moved out and settled inside a condominium in Downtown after collecting $600,000 and paying his debts. That's also the time he met SamirMahm and later recruited him as the trusty advisor.

It wasn't long before they set up relations and are in good terms with the two main empires of the city: The senior Eighth Avenue Furies and the new Ninth Avenue Razors.

And it was the same with enemies.

The Leone Family was a set of members split up from the Sopranos family after a war against Ninth Avenue Razors. The group's leader, Franco Leone, were initially friendly with Martino from the start, but after countless times of disagreements, Martino decided to wage war against Franco. He had three insiders set him up at the Ocean View Hotel. Martino stole a flower box from the hospital while the three mens set up a "meeting". Martino walked in with a shotgun concealed in the flower box and then Franco knew it was his time.

The Gonzales Family was supposed to be a great cornerstone, and one of the most feared criminal empires the state has ever known. But it failed to catch on since 2017. It languished for two years and suffered big losses on manpower. Then in 2019, Martino Gonzales' ultimate decision to oust SamirMahm meant that now, the boss of Gonzales has his last chance to bring the Family back to power.
