John Chatman is a guy who moved from Nevada to the state to try to run away from his past experiences with narcotics and alcohol. He tried to keep away from all of it, but he ended up falling back on the same track. John Chatman moves to Argonath to find hope in a new better life.

20/02/17 -
Successfully managing to find a better life in San Andreas, John Chatman gets personally invited to volunteer for the San Andreas Police Department, a place where his cousin once was deployed before her divorce. Having doubts of the situation, a day later at the Rodeo SForza Club, he ends up meeting with SAPD's present captain Sr. Lionel Valdes just outside the club. Him and the Captain fell into a positive conversation, which motivated John to volunteer and be there at the meeting. John then makes it to the meeting. Taking his first training lessons and passing them in a test, which led him to his first duties as a Volunteer; Field Patrol. Chatman becomes pretty nervous to the fact that he's gonna actually be a cop for the first time even though he's being partner with another Volunteer who was "giving a go for the big league". Fortunately, John's partner wasn't new to this nature, and he was able to teach John more stuff on the field. He gave John a high ratings, which motivated him even more towards the PD. John Chatman was recorded to doing a fantastic job first time on the field.

He plans on missing work this Monday, bringing way too early thoughts to his mind about applying to join the force.

John stays up all night reading about the SAPD's rules, extra lessons and acts on the field/dispatch. Out of curiosity and excitement, John stays up all night filling out a San Andreas Police Department application form, hoping to be accepted, then day-dreaming about a bright future in the SAPD, having no idea how it's like to have yourself risk your life for someone to have a better day.
