Northland Armed Forces
NorthlandNorthland is an island located 95 200 miles north east of San Andreas. In the year of 975,
vikings got stranded at Northland as they were on a trip to discover the world. They decided
to settle down in there - and thats when the island got its first population. Now, thousand
years later the country is a modern country with a population of 400,000 and an area of 105,000 km2.
The country has big modern cities as for example the capital city Ironbay, but it also provides great
nature with beautiful mountains. Northlands biggest economical income comes from their fishing and
oil industry.
ConflictNorthlands oil prices have risen higher and higher, due to the fact that the oil seems to be coming
to an end. As it is one of the countrys tops income, actions must be taken to secure their economy
and future as a sovereign country. The president of Northland have therefore decided to send troops
to United States of Argonath, in order to secure the oil fields of Bone county. The president's intention
is not to use any violence towards the country, but he will not negotiate about the oil, and the military
will not think twice about protecting themselves if needed.
The armed forces of NorthlandNorthland is protected by its military forces called "Northland Armed Forces", NAF. It includes an army,
airforce and navy. The biggest focus is on the army, and the airforce do not yet today have any combat
or bombing capable airplanes, but instead it has a great logistic and recon capacity. The navy includes
5 ships,two are warships and three have the capacity to carry up to 15 vehicles in each. The navy also
has plenty of smaller attack, transport and recon boats. NAF have great combat experience from both
Afghanistan, Iraq and Congo.
The foreign legion of NorthlandNorthland have sent their "Foreign Legion of Northland", which is a part of the NAF. The idea with this is
to recruit people from around United States of Argonath, as many of their citizens seems to be negative
towards their own country. The foreign legion have members who are war veterans from the Flint Country
war, but also from other conflicts around the country. With this legion, NAF have soldiers who know the
areas very well.
