I invited a new friend to play with me ivmp but he got a weird problem. Which is when he start ivmp. It says Error: could not run GTAIV.exe

Let him update his iv. And if he faced a problem in updating to 1.0.7.0 this may help

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

after installing click on launchivmp and run it as ADMIN

make sure the client is installed in the correct game's directory..
