GTA wont start

Hey guys,

I formatted my PC and downloaded everything including GTA SA and SAMP. I tred to enter the game but it said that I need to have DirectX version 9.0 at least installed, when I checked I had DirectX 12.0...

If anyone could help will be nice.

First of all , Which windows are you using?

Windows 10

Alright.

Windows 10 has a lot of Common issues with gaming , in short don't use windows 10 a lot of gaming since it has so many bugs n stuffs.

This is also a common issue and happened to me also when I installed windows 10.

To fix this , First get CLEO , install it and you should have asi with it when you install it.

Then you need Silent Patch for GTA SA , search it on google , download it and put it in your gta sa directory , inside the folder.

This should work.

GTA:SA requires DirectX 9.0 optional components, which newer games do not use. You can install them in Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components - Tick DirectPlay.
