If Argonath RPG will actually have a community in IV:Network, at least now we know that new players will learn fast enough not to blow up the Main Gas Station (MGS). :rofl:
Also, @Neproify, the guy who made slight improvements to the port overall, needs our help. He said that he needs people coding in Lua and Squirrel, so, if you want to give him a helping hand, it would be appreciated.

A new version of IV:Network has come, with slight synchronisation, CEF (probably Cisco Express Forwarding) and stability improvements. It can be downloaded at the following link: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Neproify/iv-network/build/artifacts
Also, a 24/7 server has been opened for players to see how the things work around, called freeroam.ivnetwork.tk (just type it in "Quick Connect")

Currently, this port is good, overall. Even though a vehicle might crash players when it's damaged even slightly (the Airtug), the port is pretty much ready for creating a test Argonath RPG server. Development of the server needs to be written in Squirrel, and it can be written in the folder IVNetworkServer > freeroam-master > resources > freeroam, in any of the .nut files (I think the best one is Main.nut). These files can be opened with Notepad.
It would be good to initially just have the basic roleplaying commands (/me, /em, /l, /s and /w).

I have had a discussion in the last few days with a staff member, which told me that he likes how the port has been going so far, but, the IV:MP staff members need to see the benefits that are going on the long run for IV:Network, to see if it's at least equal or superior to IV:MP 0.1 T3. In order to test if IV:Network is stable enough, it would be nice for more players to join the test server. Unfortunately, so far the server had 2 players playing at the same time, max.
My goal would be for there to be 15 players at once, in order to test the sync and find bugs, if there are. Also, it would be nice to test the stability of the server. So, please, tell us your suggestions on how to bring at least 15 players at once there (freeroam.ivnetwork.tk).

Unless Armelin can add plugins to the server and create it from scratch , I don't think any dev is willing to script an unofficial game with no parent board.

I have scripted few stuffs probably similar to iv:mp but the server crashes easily with 80 vehicles loaded only.

And creatingcheckpoint is not possible, atleast for me.

80? That's more than I tried to see if the test server crashes. For me it crashes easily at 50 :lol:

I tried using it (RC2) and it has more client & server functions than T3 ones, it's kinda unstable i guess

This project (IV:Network) doesn't have any weapons or vehicles from TLAD or TBOGT, while IV:MP T4 does. You can see the Bullet GT in the video below.

Real amazing , Good Job all team , thanks for offering that to us.

I will try to join it real soon , But wanted to clear a thing on something :

Most of us (Like Jay) Don't have EFLC Or even can get it , Google is full of links but Even if free I can't afford being scammed after downloading a 14GB On a 100KBytes/S Internet connection IF all of my family is disconnected .

I don't have paypal , I can pay , But even if I can buy the game from some steam shops in my country that buys the game for you and takes some extra money on , I won't buy a game that all of its server are down...

I might go visit some Pirate game shops which are spreaded over Syria and maybe I be lucky and find the EFLC In a 1 CD .....

The Point is :

Not all of us can get the EFLC .



UPDATE :

Just now was going to download the client and BAM ! he asked me for for Grand Theft Auto EFLC directory , It was like *Raging in unknown language like Bigsmoke*

Then don't play on it. It's 2017 and GTA IV + EFLC has been on sale multiple times before (recently on humble bundle) so why they shouldn't focus on a game that is more optmized than GTA IV and has more features to offer?
