a small question for ivmp community

So whenever you guys make those videos about IVMP I actually watch them out of boredom, but there's one thing I don't understand.

There's no car damage

this is a serious question, I'm not trolling or trying to be offensive, I've been discussing this with some people and we are all trying to find out how the hell do you get caught by the police if your car takes no damage AT ALL

For example, you can run out of fuel. Also, IV:MP doesn't support car damage well, unfortunately. But there might come a port superior to IV:MP soon. Or simply, you are bad at evading.

You can just change your vehicle really quick and continue.

That is true. Also, some damage is supported. If you hit a wall, you might have the chance of coming out through the front window.

I've played IV like 5 years ago but I remember that if you put a seatbelt, you don't actually go outside unless you go at really high speed which is in this case not really needed since you can avoid police cruisers that are about to flip you at like 70km/h.

Its not that hard, u can be flipped, u can ram a wall and jumped out of the car, u can run out of fuel..

Being flipped sounds like the only justified option to be caught because of IV's superior driving mechanics.

There is one more that they didn't mention... something that some our veterans hate a lot

You can car-jack a man from a distance without actually dragging him out. Like, literally telepathy eject-out by spamming F.
All of that is because IV:MP client is.. like it is, messy. So we do not have an animation for dragging players out.. we can only spam F to eject them

So what happens is, some players will spam F to carjack suspect if his car just got stopped or was moving slowly [Usual way to stop a truck]
Some players promote trying to stop the vehicle completely before ever doing that, but others will just spam it whenever they see a chance

What can happen is that player can get frozen if the car was moving above some speed limit [recently added scripts], like if over 40 km/h > player gets frozen, the administration gets an alert.. and they need to let the suspect back into the car :P

From the other hand, police also have a script to prevent the player to try and carjack them.. or run away with a car. And that script is working so that if an police officer enters car as a passenger while there is no driver inside, then the driver can not be criminal.. so he they can't use it :P

Anyways, most common way to get someone out of a speeding car is ramming to water/obstacles so that they get forced out [drowning/flying through the windshield]

As far as I know vehicles blowing up will make the server crash thus there's no car damage and that's happening because the client is made of crap.

I invite the OP to Liberty City. You will find out very quickly (if wanted) how to be caught by the police.

can't anyone knows enough how to make programs ( a pro like people work with bill gates ) make a new client for IV:MP ?
I mean..Its not impossible...even if we had to restart the game (delete data for all players )...
I mean think about it ! if the new client can support explosions and and a lot more things...it would be amazing !
Tons of players will join the server and enjoy ! (now max number if players is like 30 or less )
we can support all of the animations and make the game alive again !
I dunno but its not impossible...nothing impossible !
